Weekend Nuggets: Shoreline ’99

DOWNLOADS OF THE WEEKEND:

phish-shoreline-99Here we have Phish’s memorable two-night stand from Shoreline at the beginning of Fall ’99; the second being Phil Lesh’s extended sit in with the band.  The “Sand” and the “Piper” that preceded his entrance were the musical highlights of the night.  Other highlights from 9.17 include the first set “Ghost,” and the one-two punch of  “Peaches,” “Moma.”  Look out for 9.16’s “Stash” and “Antelope”- both first set scorchers.  With four strong sets strewn with spectacular moments, Phish treated the Bay Area right.

ETix website was a goddamn mess. Laughable. I hope y’all got through – and if not, hope you find way in. (If I get my hands on extras I’ll share ’em here, for what little that’s worth.)

Then I hope Phish’s ticketing changes a hundred goddamn percent. This obscene scalping shit is bad for everyone.

fenway internet was a bust but managed to get through on the phone! I am in. Friend of mine had same experience and scored via phone as well.

  11. Baxter Says:

I hit refresh on 2 computers for an hour, plus I hit re-dial on the phone constantly for an hour. Shut out again! Not a single ticket for tour in hand yet, but somehow, I will not be denied. Who’s got my extra?

Stubhub had front row for 5,000 dollars, or bad seats for $150.

Anyone want to get rid of one Fenway, SPAC, or Hartford for face, email: Baxtercs@comcast.net.

  12. dtpeter Says:

…tried to score in person, got 2/3 of the way up through the line (there were about 500 people total)….then a collective groan from the front of the line, they turned us away and that was that.

  13. Cactus Says:

Anyone got an extra one or two mezz 6/4? I have two for 6/2 and I’m looking to trade either both or one. Lemme know.
