JFJO..I haven’t sen/heard since Mathis left. Didn’t the drummer leave too? Will be curious to see if how different the music is if any difference is there. Sometimes I felt that Haas, the keyboard, player was just too all over the place.

lol……”I play a nice guy on TV”

^^It was pretty funny, he kept talking about “the other me” when he explained the website issue. A Clone would have been appropriate.

I play one of those hippies on Dragnet on TV.

I am grateful for the offer of coffee and doughnuts, and gladly accept though I would prefer tea. My favorite tea is peyo.

I finsihed my costume this week with the help of my kiddos. My costume has nothing to do with the band the the rest of the folks with us, are getting their song on. Still need an idea for the missus.

As far as albums, is there any indication they have or have not selected one finally?

My Left Field Call: Shakira – Pies Descalzos with her guesting on stage, or Fish singing and vamping like her up front for the whole set in the She Wolf outfit.

Honestly, Pies Descalzos gets a rotation in the disc changer quaterly. Worth a litsen.

Anyone consider Red Hot Chili Peppers (being in Cali) “Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic”

Just a thought for Halloween set. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it.

  10. Mr. Completely Says:

yeah, has been mentioned…don’t want to see the band dressed only in one sock each, though, honestly

first half of that album is gold

    earlier albums are better 😮

…although “If You Have To Ask” is high up on the list of Funkiest Songs Ever Played By White Boys

Can’t see Trey singing “Sir Psycho Sexy”. Not gonna happen.

  13. Jay Says:

Maybe they can cover “Too Much Too Soon” by the New York Dolls and they can all wear drag. That way they have real costumes as well as a musical costume.

  14. Mr. Completely Says:

    …or any P-Funk album…fishman in a diaper…no thx

“Mothership Accidentally Descends On Hootie Concert” in case anyone missed this gem

my memory is definitely foggy on this, but I seem to recall Flea sitting in with Phish at some point in the past. Anybody have confirmation on this or am I making it up?

  16. whole tour! Says:

  17. whole tour! Says:

  18. Jay Says:

  19. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

that makes more sense. not a show I was at (clearly) but I recall seeing it in the setlist’s notes at some point.

  20. SJC Says:

    voopa/miner-thanks for the dl advise.

  21. voopa Says:

Just searched the setlists from 88-04 and I can’t find any Flea sit in.

  22. Lycanthropist Says:

    good afternoon all

  23. Jay Says:

your right. No mention of flea. Weird. Group hallucination?

  24. bearito Says:

Flea does play the trumpet as well as the bass. He did play on that ‘Rising Low’ album which also featured Gordo. Maybe that’s the connection?
