Winged music note=====

Reba > Walk Away > Simple” 10.29.98 II

One of the most sublime and psychedelic excursions to ever stem from “Reba” kicked off Fall ’98 in style.

-The man looking at the light bulb and the woman in white -on red/black background

that is a White Stripes album. Elephant, I believe.

I just have a feeling it will be something so far in left field that people will be scratching their heads.

  4. whole tour! Says:

i could see them destroying a rolling stones album.
maybe get ole keef out there for a guest encore on emo rescue or sweet virginia.

  5. SJC Says:

@thedude – I’m with you on the Who’s concept albums. Love them both..Tommy moreso than Quad.

Crowes and Page – GREAT SHOWS!! Late 90’s (’99 maybe?), Chris Robinson does Plant proud IMO. Classic Jimmy Page slop solos (some of my favorite guitar of all time) well worth a listen for any Zep fans.

  6. halcyon Says:

Hall and Oates Private Eye…Funky white boy R & B.

  7. SJC Says:

**(some of my favorite guitar of all time) – Zeppelin Jimmy Page, not the Crowes/Page stuff. Not even close to the heat of ’70;s zeppelin.**

  8. Uncle Ebeneezer Says:

Phish is ahead by a whopping 75-25….everyone votes!!!

  9. whole tour! Says:

    tears for fears

I love that Saturday Night Fever is on there. Halloween is a Saturday, after all…

I’m in the “Pro” Who camp. Live at Leeds is phenomenal and the concept albums were a gateway drug for me. Got me into much heavier music.

if i were going to indio with a group of people..my costume would be the final scene from revenge of the nerds…the yellow suits…the turn tables…the indian with a gong…booger as elvis…llamar in silver…wormzer breakin it down with the glove. You know it would be hot.

  12. Mr. Completely Says:

I don’t hate on the who or anything. I just put them solidly in the second tier of classic rock. To me the top level is Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Floyd, the end…but of course it’s totally subjective

  13. EL Duderino Says:

My opinion on that album list is this:

It seems like a list put together by some bored Phish fan of all the songs/teases covered by Phish and their solo projects, guest appearances and such. Some of them are way to ridiculous to even be considered.

  14. whole tour! Says:

    Allman Bros…eat a peach….

  15. EL Duderino Says:

    won’t happen no slide player.

  16. halcyon Says:

I dug Tears for Fears growing up…they had some songs about the illuminati and such

  17. snigglebeach Says:

Saturday night fever is so out of place, it makes me wonder….

Plus i remember hearing someone rumor a movie soundtrack and that is the only 1 i see on there.

That being said, I believe someone here already figured it out.
The Coffee and donuts thing is a hint to them playing The Police.

  18. halcyon Says:

whats the album to the left of ziggy stardust

    Same here.

What a surprise it’d be if phish repeated an artist at Halloween. I say they won’t repeat, so cross off “Who’s Next”, “Fear of Music”, “Rubber Soul”, and “The Velvet Underground & Nico”.

Not sure I’m willing to cross of Pink Floyd though.

  20. EL Duderino Says:

    “Garcia” is my choice!
The first solo album not the 76 one.

  21. sumodie Says:

“whats the album to the left of ziggy stardust”

I tried that too. Unfortunately when you refresh the album order changes.

  22. voopa Says:

Huh. I just reloaded phish.com, an there’s some different albums now. Not all, but some.

  23. wvbrdr Says:

Someone over on the green board has them alphabetically by artist:

That place gives me a headache.

  24. Robear Says:

I can’t get any flash player love on Firefox or Safari, but the Maple covered Feight donuts look good…

  25. halcyon Says:

Just refeshed it sumodie and it is now eat a peach in that position…

its fun looking at the album covers…most of my music is all digital and i dont think I have seen an album cover in a long long time.
