Adventures In the Freezer – An Audio Post
Here is some Monday morning music to start off the week. In the vein of last week’s “Ambient Evolution” mix, today, I have spliced together a series of groove-era “Tweezer” jams – from 1997 to 2000 – in a 78-minute escapade, “Adventures In The Freezer.” The focus of this mix is straight-up, nasty Phish grooves, with some jams excerpted and some getting their full spin. Give it a listen, I think you’ll enjoy. The setlist is below the player. Click the title to download an mp3 version; a lossless link is below.

Thank you Miner for Adventures In The Freezer. I’ve always wanted an hour and 17 minutes of pure funk…well, cow-funk, that is.
no pending transactions on my card either. I hope it matters that I am using a debit card and those won’t post till later (or something). Good week to win my football picks pool for $375 in case I do score the tickets.
I’m sure by the time these Fall shows roll around, tickets are going to be dirt cheap. For those of you worrying, don’t! It’ll work itself out!
I have another friend going in for lottery tickets. Any extras I have will be offered here first..
Good luck people.
@butter i guess i just don’t get it
why would you think that his case makes your prosecution any less likely? they’re never sensible about allocating resources. it’s totally random who gets busted and who doesn’t (volunteers like Eddy aside).
In Cali your 90 plant grow wasn’t very likely to get busted before he went down and it’s no more or less likely now. There’s just no connection that I understand.
As far as I can see the only lesson is: he fought the law, and the law won.
But I’m biased. I grew up a second generation outlaw and spent years of effort learning the art and science of fooling the Man. Making yourself a target just baffles me. It goes against every lesson I learned. But maybe I’m just old fashioned, LOL
I’m sure he did get away with a lot. And yes I do see getting away with it as noble. Growers and chemists are the psychic Robin Hoods of modern society. I think a grower that goes about their business, medical or otherwise, year in and year out provides a better example than this kind of kamikaze mission.
Just my $0.02
I also think very extreme oddball cases like him held up as “examples” of marijuana culture is quite harmful to the cause among undecideds in the middle america voting bloc who might be open to legalization in Cali in the 5-10 year medium term…
I guess MLK should have painted his face white and put on some overalls to eat in a restaurant.
“I also think very extreme oddball cases like him held up as “examples” of marijuana culture is quite harmful to the cause among undecideds in the middle america voting bloc who might be open to legalization in Cali in the 5-10 year medium term…”
^Exactly.
And yes, making yourself a target is just asking for it. He let his ego get in the way…check that at the garden gate and he’s still growing.
I’ll be looking for any MSG and VA extras…you guys keep me in mind 🙂
Reggae show is on… Click my name to go to the website.

In the spirit of Halloween and the “8” looming on the horizon, how about a mash up of some of the most sublime “Ghost” tunes…?
Thanks again for your consideration.
@ Type III, nice work…so fun to read sometimes
With all this talk of Halloween set and some chatter of the acoustic set, their hasnt been much talk about the other 6 bombers that are gonna let loose.
