Ghost Stories – An Audio Post

Red Rocks - 7.31 (W.Rogell)

Red Rocks - 7.31 (W.Rogell)

I’ve really been enjoying the audio posts as of late, and after four-hour baseball games, there’s nothing like unwinding with some Phish to the dome as the evening moves on. Sticking with a theme, this time I focused on “Ghost,” a song that has launched jams of all shapes and sizes. “Ghost’s” improv has been diverse and consistent since its debut (see below), but for this mix, I focused more on the groove side of things, speckled with doses of fast-paced psychedelia. Pulling several classics off the shelves I’ve crafted a small musical stanza of “Ghost Stories.” With Halloween around the corner, some spooky tales should serve the season right. With most of us  leaving one week from today – it’s about to be on – Indio awaits!

  5. Neemor Says:

    Nabby,
I’ve always considered Phish fans my people.
I used to comment whenever pulling into a lot, especially a Festy that I was back “amongst my people”.
I guess that lends itself to putting things on PT that I normally wouldn’t.
The only dicks I’ve met at a Phish show were the ones who sold me bunk!

  6. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

sorry about my exuberance on getting tickets. didn’t mean to rub it in to anyone getting denials…

  7. HarryHood Says:

Hit on two for albany 11/28, but not the b-day show in portland.
When I put in I wasn’t sure what my plans were, so put in for both, but now it’s looking like only portland will be in the cards. When I strike out on saturday, I’m hopeful that one of you kind souls will help me find my birthday tickets.

  10. JWP_Phan Says:

Well, I just got the email from Phish Tickets, and it was pretty disappointing. Only got tix to one show that I requested, and they are behind the stage!?! I guess I am going to have to try my luck with ticketmaster for the rest. I don’t see this ending well. :(
