Absher I haven’t heard his Sunday pull but Z-Man’s FOBs of Friday and Saturday were just great

as for the sbds I have not seen them yet for Sunday

I have to admit, I’m not a Stones fan, but the Exile set was still pretty interesting. To be honest, I’ve never really dug the Halloween sets. I’d rather hear Phish play Phish with a cover thrown in occasionally. The Acoustic Set was definitely a favorite of mine though. Re-inventing themselves with mostly their own music, now that’s what I’m into. While musically impressive, I’d take last night’s Set III over the Exile set without question.

  3. Phish...YUP Says:

That was just an absolutely phenomenal time. Epic even.

What was up on the Burble and Borealis? How did those turn out?

  6. Snowbank Says:

Waiting At psp.. Amazing experience. Sickest dance party last set last night. The torches, the burble …. The lit palm trees blew me mind off. Definitely excited to see the pics ! Just too much aesomeness for me to coney. Lucky for us we have mr miner to start making sense of it.

  7. Absher Says:

    Thanks Completely,

I am using Opera to download. Is there something faster. I don’t like Opera

  8. punkmug Says:

I really hope Torn and Frayed makes some more appearances in their cover song rotation. That shit has some serious exploratory potential.

  9. EL Duderino Says:

I met zman-atl in Chicago back in ’06. He’s a friend of both my buddies that are from ATL and Titusville FL. Pretty cool cat and his rig is definitely top notch! Definitely the best pulls from Indio so far

  10. EL Duderino Says:

I just want to know if anyone has the HD flac files yet and were they worth the extra coin?

  11. Mr. Completely Says:

I’m really glad for Miner that he just relaxed and had fun this weekend and didn’t worry about posting a lot. With the Sirius stream and the Bunny it felt like we were all right in the loop.

  12. beepaphone Says:

Seems like the majority of my FOB’s from the year are from the Z-Man. Some of his recordings, particularly Deer Creek, are phenomenal.

  13. Neemor Says:

My personal favorite part of the festival, the part that musically gave me goose-flesh was when Trey started chanting “Save My Soul” over that Wolfman’s>Piper segue.
I remember staring at my computer screen barking wildly, “NICE! NICE!”
That was the moment for me.
It was asked if the Indio (Insert song here) will be talked about in the future and the answer is probably, “No”. If for no other reason than we’re too effing fickle, What will be talked about in that way was the Set that closed the weekend. Pure bliss.

  14. BTB Says:

Any Cobo shirt ideas? KISS reference? I’ll put on the thinking cap.

  15. Mr. Completely Says:

I know nothing about kiss other than that I hate them and think they suck. was never able to enjoy shitty bands ironically 8)

  16. beepaphone Says:

    ^ I’ll join you…
    def. KISS reference

  17. BTB Says:

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a KISS song other than the famous one they play on the radio.

  18. gavinsdad Says:

i too was stoked that miner took his time to hang out at the event and not feel indebted….129 pages worth of posts speaks to the commitment level of our “community”.

he’ll be back soon enough anyway with the spin.

  19. beepaphone Says:

    @ Mr. C.

    well….DUH

The best I can think of is “Detroit Sprach City” and I think we can do better.

  20. Mr. Completely Says:

I was a metal kid growing up and a lot of my friends loved kiss. If I wanted to listen to bands that can’t play their instruments I woulda been a punk rocker…

  21. Mr. Completely Says:

they are funny dudes though. The KISS casket that functions as a beer cooler for the years until you die might be the greatest bit of rock merch marketing in the history of stupid crap you don’t need but buy anyway

  22. PBS Says:

^^ haaa…you like bands that can play their instruments? Crazy.

  23. BTB Says:

I’m thinking the boys do some kind of stupid KISS reference. You know Mike is all over that impression, ha

  24. Mr. Completely Says:

I’m just saying, I have no context to come up with jokes/references, other than a full on cartoon of Phish is KISS makeup

….which would be done in Photoshop…
    hm

  25. Neemor Says:

Mr. C…the Free was gorgeous. I loved it from top to bottom.
Getting my first listen to that Ghost (only set I missed).
    Really solid.
