Tonight was a good as anything since the return. So great…What a weekend! So much to say….

and I do believe 3rd set last night was the closest to real Phish that we have gotten so far. Never backed off, just kept coming, interesting turns, great set

Since COBO is being torn down I bet Olympia Entertainment may have actually reached out to he band. My friends in Detroit told me they are trying to book as many solid acts in there as possible before the wrecking ball.
Yea, I kept getting this strange feeling all weekend like I was forgetting something that I had to do, or somewhere that I had to go. 8 times I thought of IT and 8 times I couldn’t for the life of me remember.

As for Exile, I do think they pulled it off and nailed it. Trey held down 2 guitar parts and did so flawlessly. They definitely rehearsed this one and I hope to see a song or 2 enter the rotation. Shake your hips or Torn and Frayed, Soul Survivor… all sound at home in the Phish Universe

I just saw KISS Halloween night At Voodoo Fest in NOLA, and it was easily one of the best rock shows I’ve seen. They played after Jane’s Addiction, which was another of the best rock shows I’ve seen. Both were firsts for me. I’m worried that the Phish crowd is losing the ability to just have fun at a show and is resorting to over-analyzing every little thing they do/don’t do. Keep the beautiful buzz going!

they should make this happen. The recording I made of Friday, while very nice, has enough issues (compression and minor glitches) to mean it won’t cut down on their LivePhish sales. Sirius is well known for being cheap, but I’m sure they could make Phish an offer that would be good for the band and still turn a profit….they’d get a LOT of subscribers I think, after the very positive experience everyone had this weekend
