Re:Albany 2000. I think the next night they pulled a few fans up on stage to get down with Michael Ray during Sand. If my memory serves correctly

  2. Leo Weaver Says:

yeah, all I got of 00 was RCMH and Roseland…missed everything else. I’ve kicked myself for not getting to at least one or three of the SE summer swing. Didn’t see them again until the huge 03 Greensboro show.

  3. Robear Says:

    Trey’s ‘Ghost’ = Jerry Garcia ? 😉

Is there a link on this site for an Mp3 download of the ‘Gamehendge’ story?

  4. Robear Says:

6/10/95 ‘Mike’s Groove’ will get me through this pile of dishes. JOTD cut out on me with soapy hands 🙁

  5. c0wfunk Says:

summer 00 was soo fun – I was on a huge freedom kick, new girl (my wife now), new town, flyin by the seat of my pants –>

we came to asheville to find a place, then went to atlanta to work (grilled cheese and water back then) when we realized how close it was – the only show I’ve ever been outside the whole time, it was terrible! then we didn’t have to work in raleigh… went back up to philly, caught july 3 & 4, moved all our crap to asheville, then on 3 hours of sleep drove to alpine with no money but a trunk full of bread, cheese, and waters, sold about 200 grilled cheeses before the show, then saw phil, deercreekX3 and polarisX2, and showed up back in asheville, where our first weekend here was this giant street festival called Bele Chere and we were dancin to the Funky Meters downtown under the stars…. memories..

Last time I’ve been out on the road with phish like that….

  6. Mr.Miner Says:

@ Robear. Trey’s Original Thesis is linked to this post. Let me know if the links are dead

  7. Mr.Miner Says:

    got a Maine to trade for a C’Ville Floor…anyone?

  8. Mr.Miner Says:

@Robear, That post also has a cast of characters in Gamehendge which can assist you in telling the story to your little one

  9. Robear Says:

^thx. brother. The link is still active. How about a program for MAC OSX to un-zip .rar files?

Mr. C suggested 7-zip, but I only found one for Windows.

  10. sumodie Says:

The BC show was my first west coast show -the half empty arena was loads of fun. Really dug the modern architecture of Vancouver, though sadly we had no time to explore. Glad I haven’t had to cross the border on a regular basis to see the boys.

Saw those first 4 shows that tour: BC>Gorgex2>Portland -was so exhausted by the time we got back to my friend’s place in Seattle. And then I missed the ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ tease in Idaho -argh!

  11. Mr.Miner Says:

stuffit expander = free download. Will do the trick

  12. Robear Says:

^yes, yes, yes! I’m trying to warm my daughter up to Phish a little more, and I think the story will help..

  13. ThePigSong Says:

    @Robear – Go White!

  14. Mr.Miner Says:

JoTD download issues fixed. Sorry bout that.

  15. c0wfunk Says:

really interesting taste – trey clearly not interested in the status quo – during page’s piano solo he lets out a crazy wild digi loop sound disguised as a rhythm lick, and then he is all over the place rhythmically in the beginning of his solo, and then all the way up the peak he avoids the stock licks and tries his best to bring it to new and interesting places. Whether he succeeds may be a matter of taste (sorry) but he certainly tries..

  16. Mr.Miner Says:

    ^its all about trying

  17. Mr. Completely Says:

We scaled a small railing and enjoyed the show in a private suite, complete with refreshments and tons of dancing room!

    epic

  18. Mr. Completely Says:

blazers vs. hornets out-uglied the niners-bears game from the night before

    sheesh

hornets fans, sorry CP3 gets hurt every time we come to town, weird coincidence

nice to see the lakers get waxed like that, only prob is that the nugs are in our division but still

  19. Mr.Miner Says:

aint nuthin like a greay Saturday morning wake and bizzake…

  20. Mr.Miner Says:

Warriors smoked the Knicks last night, not that is’s a braggable feat. But we are on the rise ! (kind of)

  21. ColonleJoy Says:

If anyone is interested in 2 second night Cincy tix for under face in section 234, you can have them for $80 for the pair….

send me a message at mannishjoy@gmail.com

wife and I are gearing up for tour!! Finally!!

  22. ColonleJoy Says:

BTW, Mr. C…..the stereo sounds amazing!!

  23. Mr. Palmer Says:

Pretty tough being a Knicks fan. Throwing all their eggs into the LeBron 2010 basket and sacrificing this season. D-wade wouldn’t be a bad consolation prize however.

  24. YborCity Says:

LONG time reader, first time comment-er

Just thought I’d bring this to everyone’s attention as it has not been brought up here yet. Last night Gordo sat in with Umphrey’s McGee for “In the Kitchen”. All reports have been very positive, and Umph world is blowing up with excitement right now!

  25. EL Duderino Says:
