The Return to the Big Stage
The time has come; tonight Phish will return to MSG for the first time since their first comeback on December 31, 2002. After an extensive year of playing, Phish’s calendar will come to an unquestionable climax in a building they have historically owned. With thirteen shows in The Garden under their belt, the band returns to the arena at the tail end of their fall tour in a completely different place than ever before in their career. Phish have traditionally pushed themselves in the Garden, forming some of their career defining nights in the building. From their first appearance in ’94 and their epic New Year’s show in ’95, to the legendary New Year’s Runs of ’97 and ’98, MSG boasts arguably the most regal history of any Phish venue. And tonight the legacy continues…

wow another show repeat!
Antelope to the rescue
@Mr C
Thanks. I thought about that feature on itunes, but I felt, rightly, apparently, that it would not manipulate the file externally.
Perhaps someday I can reciprocate the Darkstarenstein, at least on some level.
lots of repeats tonight
my money is on short and rockin 9-11 minutes long
was set to get out today
had a bunch of shit at work. missed my flight.
if the morning goes smooth will be out by noon.
what can you do.
life in a babylon.
still get 2 and 4 in Miami
can’t complain
hell yeah brother
YELL FOR THE PASSION BABY
true true
i live in st. pete
i WANT to go to miami…any rich folk just want to give me some money for being pretty?!?!?!?
DO IT
🙂
I don’t do good in large groups
even small groups for that matter
this weekend could be pretty hectic. a lot to do in New York and a lot of kids going out there. could be pretty busy.
we will have a puff though man
if not this weekend soon very soon
work some shit Boris
get your hustle on
that’s what I used to do when I was broke and needed to see a show
wow…new trey pedal?
I would agree about the winding down sensation of second sets. Seems like not much after the 3rd song, save for songs like Hood, etc that have built in jam capability, though quite finite (witness Velvet). Then we get a string of set closers, with a biggish one thrown in at the end. I would be surprised if anything follows this Antelope.
Looks like Kuroda brought his big light rig to fill MSG. I could be mistaken, but I don’t remember seeing a rig that big on this tour
i can’t do it AW…i am a poor student who needs to work instead of go to concerts
this new pedal of trey’s is melting my face man
that’s why I dug Cinci night I
not the craziest jamming but pretty nice songs selection all the way through
boris – please post head shot and references.
definitely gonna have to listen to this one. slave tweez hood antelope in the 2nd. i just cant get my head around it. (tho i’m sure it’s happened a few times before).
making money while seeing Phish shows can be fun too!
all good AW – i know how to spot the hat.
lol
you don’t want a/s/l first!?!?!?
seriously those warbly effects are extrasensory
look out man
AW
I can see your point. Found Portland to be extremely entertaining, though looking at the list on paper might give a hint otherwise. The Meat was sweet, fwiw.
i called it short and sweet like…oh well i will keep it clean
I mean joy sparkle
I think it is fair to say we don’t have to hear that one to get the jest of it
I just realized they played those back to back
back in the day when I was touring in the mid 90’s I would have been booing at shit like that
let’s a nice nice encore.
