  6. c0wfunk Says:

Yeah I see the kdf / cdt thing but it’s more musical .. The stealing time thing is bmore about the sentiment in the lyrics. That sardonic yearning for freedom. I guess kill devil has some of that but it’s more a story song to me…

  7. neemor Says:

Snow is piling up outside here in southern CT.
    Beautiful.
I seem to appreciate everything a little bit more now that Phish is back.
That seems a bit grandiose reading it back, but let me state it this way:
Having somewhat taken for granted the band in ’99-’00, actually, never really expecting them to ever be gone, I probably took their playing for granted from the start…I digress.

The return of the Phish has taught me a very valuable lesson to appreciate things a bit more….to walk slower, to be more deliberate in my motions, to smell the flowers, to acknowledge colors and shapes of things and their details…
    Things I’d forgotten to do.
When this band was gone, things lost a lot of glimmer.
    Now the shine is back.

I’m going outside now to make a snow angel.
    That’s right.
Then I’m coming back inside to make some hot cocoa and a fire in the fireplace.

    I’m happy again.
No more going through the motions…
    It’s time to live again…with a purpose:
    Enjoy.

I, for one, need to look forward to Spring and Summer next year because New Year’s Miami is not on my plate, wish it were….
I will have to live vicariously through you guys, Miner’s break-downs and the marvelous technological breakthrough that is the mp3.

Have a great night guys, talk to you all tomorrow.
