Neemor you get the Toad’s Reload?

I like the older ladies taboot. My wife has me by four days, calendrically speaking. Older ladies know what they want and they flat out ask.

Not to openly attack a faith, but I do think islam got it wrong when the martyrs get 72 virgins. Virgins, seriously really? Talk about ignorant. Who wants awkward virgin sex? Line me up a queue of 40-something trophy divorcees with bolt-on, aftermarket boobs and their preferred sex toys. I’m talking ladies who will give up the tightness of the backoffice so they can still service the front office and double their pleasure with the aforementioned toys. Crass, indeed.

How much snow did everyone back east?

  2. neemor Says:

No sleep for me last night, pulled an all nighter.
    No particular reason.

Just watched the movie ‘Taken’ with Liam Neeson…good shit, for real.
Dude is indeed a Jedi Master.

Another nice book is ‘Box Of Rain’, the book of Robert Hunter’s lyrics and things…really fun read.
I, for one, didn’t know 90% of the lyrics of Dead tunes, this shed light on his poetry…great quotes and beautiful mantra-type phrases for reflection.

  3. neemor Says:

Imagine the drama with 72 virgins vying for your attention??
    No, thank you Allah.
    Keep it.

I got Toad’s, thank you…much better copy than I had back in the day (Maxell II with ‘super HISS feature’)
Hey Andrew jam was everything I remembered…
    Made my month.

I wonder why Miner dodged the indirect question of mine asking if the band read this board….
I’m thinking he knows somethings that he just wants to keep under wraps.
I’m pretty sure Miner is Tom Marshall.
    Or Brad Sands.
    Or Richard Glasgow.
    Or Jon’s Drum Tech.
    Or Gordeaux’s Foot Bell Tech.
Or Page’s ‘Deep Space Clav Professor.
    Or The Bad Lieutenant’s haberdasher.
    Or Naked Guy….

    One of the above.

  4. BrandonKayda Says:

Chuck Palahnuik is very cool, I have read a few of his books. Good stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I will certainly check those out.

    Taken is awesome

  5. BrandonKayda Says:

    Neemor, you are fucking hilarious

  6. Mr. Palmer Says:

    foot bell tech= awesome

  7. SillyWilly Says:

hmmmm….Neemor, now that you mention it…Wasn’t Miner’s post a little slow after John Paul Jones….like maybe they don’t have wireless in…jail?

  8. PBS Says:

    llfa…

i am Jack’s sense of “man that guy’s funny and he’s got snow” jealousy.

  9. PBS Says:

Last gift recommendation. For those of you that love Hunter S. Thompson, check out “Hunter”, by E. Jean Carroll. She captures his essence in a similar style of prose. Marvelous read, with some real insight into his world. One of my favorite bios.

  10. Phamily Berzerker Says:

Ah, the Maxell days, nostalgia. I got hte Phish White album that way with the encores of Amy’s Farms for filler.

@BK ask for 1000 rounds 0f .308 ammo. The price will only be going up.

I put two pallets into my kids’ college funds. should be worth at least one semester’s tuition for in state by the time they reach that age.

I am all about alternative investment strategies.

I rather like the anonymity places such as this afford us and we are at our discretion to share or in many cases overshare, what we feel appropriate.

As fart as my guess, I suppose Miner is a worldclass poker player spending his take on his true muse. Bien hecho, Señor Miner!

There are four kids under 9 in my house pretending they are domesticated rodents dancing to funky christmas music. Looks like I picked the wrong day to wake and pop those mescaline capsules. At least they are not projecting geometric shapes out of their foreheads.

  11. SillyWilly Says:

    not yet, phamily berzerker.

Started with a humorous insertion of the word ‘fart’ and got better from there!

    Sounds interesting.

  14. Phamily Berzerker Says:

    Right, Silly, not yet.
Does Team Hood have the BT up already?

Headed to the park with the dog, kiddos and a frisbee.

    No shovelling sunshine in AZ.

    Lasta

  15. jay Says:

    Fast Food Nation – Schlosser
    The Basketball Diaries – Carroll
    A Clockwork Orange – Burgess
    Slaughterhouse-Five – Vonnegut
    Hell’s Angels – Hunter S. Thompson

  16. voidBoy Says:

    @Jay,

Some good books on that list. Well, Hitchhiker’s Guide is always a fun read for sure.

  17. Mitch Says:

    morning all, everyone awake yet?

  18. sumodie Says:

@silly: cville naked guy never went to jail,so your theory doesnt hold. just saying 8)

  19. SillyWilly Says:

Thanks for clearin’ that up, sumodie.

what happens if you streak like that? will the cops find your clothes for you?

for me the toughest think about streaking would be worrying about shrinkage. i mean youre just gonna be cold for awhile especially if you get caught.

  20. jay Says:

what do they call that condition? Shrinkaphobia?

  21. jay Says:

The really prepared cops carry a extra set of clothing for just such a contingency. Nobody likes touching a naked guy out in the wild.

  22. SillyWilly Says:

    shrinkaphobia! llfa

what if its a really big fat guy that streaks and the cops’ extra set of clothes dont fit?

i guess some people are born for straking and some arent.

  23. SillyWilly Says:

    streaking*

  24. Robear Says:

@ Mitch, found two artists. We should be able to get er done.

Rain in the lower pacific northwest.

Cafe Mon and the Light, with homeade squash coffee cake.

What Miner said re: the new songs.

  25. sumodie Says:

@silly: maybe thats why nekkid guy felt the need to hug trey -he wanted a little warming.

i recall the infamous naked wizard of coachella incident prompted a big debate on the green board of how psychs cause shrinkage too. more food for thought on this wintry day, albeit one w/out fresh snow here in amherst,ma. no sledding for me 🙁
