Miner’s Picks – Fall ’09

Madison Square Garden (Brian Ferguson)

As we turn the page from Fall Tour and begin to look towards Miami, I have compiled the latest installment in the Miner’s Picks series – “Fall ’09.” This time around, you’ll find some repeats throughout the eight-hour highlight reel due to Phish’s proclivity for using similar vehicles throughout the run. The band chose their weapons for  this tour and slayed them each time out, playing some of the most engaging jams from similar launchpads. Providing a legitimate summary of the past tour, “Miner’s Picks: Fall ’09” arrives just in time for the holidays to spice up any dinner or cocktail party. Enjoy the psychedelia with your holiday cheer, and get ready for a Miami New Year!

    yeah last night

    thanks ya’ll

always thought we’d just date for life but lately the girl started thinking maybe the marriage thing is not so bad after all

have to make the lady happy
    whatever she wants
puts up with a lot of shit as ya’ll can imagine

  2. Phamily Berzerker Says:

    Kudos, Adub!

Calling the shot, light her up wih the Jack Herer in the grinder nothing but net.

    SWOOSH

    Bien Hecho Ca’!!

  3. Chuck D Says:

Congratulations AW. Only a true stoner would propose via grinder, classy and classic.

    Smoke weed everyday.

  4. voopa Says:

    That’s beautiful, AW!

We were both stoned when I proposed, does that count?

  5. Neemor Says:

    Imagine this, if you will:

Proposing to your long-time girlfriend whilst tripping face…
    and the answer is “No.”

There would be some awkward feelings emanating at that point!
    Tail spin: engaged!

Probably a good idea to do that one sober (or at least somewhat sober).

  6. Mr. Completely Says:

yeah man at some point you got to realize if you got a good one, one that puts up with you and keeps you happy, you just need to commit to doing whatever it takes to keep her on board

that ring makes all the difference

tells them you’re really not looking to upgrade

lot of women start off thinking they don’t need the ring, but when time passes, they change their minds…which is their prerogative

  7. Kaveh Says:

Congrats Albert Walker…enjoy the continued journey and adventures with your lady!

  8. whole tour! Says:

    congrats AW!

  9. Mr. Completely Says:

    I don’t even use a grinder

    should I have a grinder?

I just pinch right from the nug for bowls and bongs, then use the remainder that falls to the bottom of the jar for spliffs

when you’re rocking 3-4 strains in the jar it makes for some brutal joints…love the combo high

  10. flarrdogg Says:

Mr C- Is there a way to download streams off of archive dot org- specifically the C Miller Dead soundboards?

  11. Mr. Completely Says:

there is some URL hack, yes, but I have forgotten it, sorry

but I bet someone else on here knows it

works for mp3s, the flacs are really inaccessible I think

  12. halcyon Says:

    Congrats AW! Great to hear.

  13. flarrdogg Says:

Not wanting to be illegal- is there somewhere else to pull them from?

  14. Neemor Says:

“when you’re rocking 3-4 strains in the jar it makes for some brutal joints…love the combo high”

Speaking of rings, Mr.. C….will you do me the honor?

  15. flarrdogg Says:

    AW- congrats

  16. jay Says:

lot of women start off thinking they don’t need the ring, but when time passes, they change their minds…which is their prerogative

Word. Been with my GF for 7 years and it matters. Going to get hitched as well early January. Congrats AW!

  17. Mr. Completely Says:

sorry Neemor, spoken for, but I’ll keep you in mind if my current situation doesn’t work out, always good to have a fallback plan

  18. Mr. Completely Says:

there is some ginormous megaupload site with a billion GD SBD sources, but I don’t use it…honestly I get 90% of my GD from etree and the rest from Workingman’s Tracker, I never pull MP3s so I have no clue where to get them…

  19. flarrdogg Says:

Thanks, C- Me too. I had a friend searching for a certain show that has a Miller sbd available @ archive and I didn’t want to over complicate things for him to pull his show. This particular show (4-21-78) has either one seeder, or none at all. I’m always leery of one seeder for fear that I’ll get cut off mid stream. Thanks again.

  20. albert walker Says:

the grinder C is the greatest modern day invention

without it I don’t know what I’d do

    get a big one though
gotta be able to twist over it

  21. Mr. Completely Says:

@flarr, I have the miller source for 4-21-78 I think

I’ll check when I get home if you want, I could easily send you mp3s at least

  22. flarrdogg Says:

Sorry for wasting board space. I ‘d like to steer the discussion back to Jennifer Dances if at all possible.

  23. flarrdogg Says:

Mr C- flarrdogg at yahoo dot com. Thanks

  24. Weekapaug Says:

to get into the Dead archive, you need to delete archive out or the URL and replace it with download. I think

  25. albert walker Says:

    thanks all around

it’s dealing with my friends I’ve been telling they are totally fuckin crazy for being married and I will die before I get married

I am in for getting some serious deserved shit

    C

sometimes sticky herb is hard to grind
    fingers get all sticky
I even grind for tubes or pipes
drop in about 3 grams at a time 2 twists and done
