It should be mentioned, back in college, I had members of an upper level music class draw with chalk to this 12.31.93 Reba. The general idea was to tap into the brain a bit, and see where the music takes everyone. Can music help you to see colors? Does the music represent certain colors? What emotions can you draw from the music? That was a fun day in class.

thats awesome dude. I had a professor go on a crazy drawing streak illustrating the builds in paperback writer one day in my beatles class. he was on crutches and had more energy than the crutches allowed so he threw them at the floor and started jumping while flailing and drawing. that was an awesome day in class too.

…back to reba making you think in terms of colors, i’m having robears buddy make me a custom glass piece and i was going to ask if hes a phish fan for him to design one from the philly reba. (havent told robear so if youre out there, start thinking on that one) design from the colors CK5 uses or just make it up as he goes along. that song always makes me think of blues and greens and purples.

Morning Everyone and Merry Christmas! Sitting at work for the next few hours until I am off for a evening of dinner and drinks before I go back to nights. The mixes the past few days are making working back to back shifts a bit easier.

Happy Holidays Everyone! Drive safe, travel safe!

  8. Leo Weaver Says:

Merry Christmas to all from the Weaver household!!!

@corey…I’m here now. So you made it to Cortona, huh? Nice…

For a project in one of my classes, we all had to draw to music for a week. It was an exercise in developing conceptual forms from colors and lines that were visual representations of the music. We had to draw freeform lines and shapes with no direction other than the music to guide us, then go back to pull the images and forms that would eventually turn into a site design. It was a really cool exercise which I still use in my professional work.

OK, guys…off to grab some family breakfast…talk to you guys later…HO HO HO!!!

    Hey all, MERRY XMAS!!

Haven’t been around lately as I was really slow to listen to all the Fall No Spoilers, staying completely in the dark.

    MY WIFE FTW!!!!!!!!

I had come to terms with the fact that I would not see any Phish this year even though Miami is only 4 hours away. Pretty bummed at first but such is life. WELL……. my wife surprised me today with 2 tix to Mon night and a hotel in Dania Beach (~30 min). She put in for lottery and everything. She is not even a fan (yet ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) been working on her though.

Will be my second show, first indoors, her second ever concert (first was DMB in 2000). I am so excited I can barely even process it!!!!!!!!

    See ya’ll in Miami!!

    Bag opener!

    Peace.

  14. chefbradford Says:

    WSF- Awesome for you

    Gus- Awesome for you, too

  15. chefbradford Says:

I have yet to see Phish indoors. If they do any spring shows, it’s time to come to the deep South (sorry guys, Miami is not what we’re talking about ๐Ÿ™‚ )

  16. BrandonKayda Says:

    Gus – That’s awesome. Congratulations!

  17. chefbradford Says:

opened up the “flow” book this morning, also got the dvd “fillmore the last days” w/ footage from santana, dead, jefferson airplane, new riders, etc. Pretty excited about that one.. there’s a track called “noodle” by jerry garcia, and also a “rehearsal jam” w/ jerry and the new riders. Should be fun stuff. Ends w/ 3 Santana tunes.

Also got cash for my new moogerfooger midi-murf! Love the christmastime!

Reading into the phish bio this morning, very entertaining so far.
