is it good for noodling? sounds like it should be

  2. Leo Weaver Says:

@chef…found it on Miner’s archive (thank you MR. Miner)

sounds like a killer dvd @cow…enjoy!

  3. chefbradford Says:

    Everybody’s family is a mess!

Thanks cow, I should have guessed: A Live One, The Phish Book, Phish: the Biography

    go figure 🙂

  4. Worthless Swampy Fool Says:

@ Mitch – FTW = For The Win

    Is there a meetup Mon???

  5. chefbradford Says:

Leo, good deal. I think I’ll listen to either that or the aforementioned 12/31/93 ‘Reba’ on my way to my parents’ house. I’ll have to drive really slowly though, it’s only 6 or 7 minutes away

  6. c0wfunk Says:

yeah the midi murf is perfect for noodling 🙂 Kind of a cross between a phaser and a sequencer in a way – a step frequency filter with programmable patterns and envelopes at each frequency. gives you that really schwirly thang, and all analog processing, but the first moogerfooger with midi – so you can program the patterns and interface w/ other midi devices etc.

  7. Leo Weaver Says:

should be a nice drive, chef…enjoy. think I may check out that reba…

  8. c0wfunk Says:

I’m always turning a 6-7 minute drive into a 15 minute one to fit the jam. Or just waiting in the driveway eyes closed, blissed out, until it is over 🙂

  9. chefbradford Says:

Cowfunk, ditto; if I get home and it hasn’t peaked, I’m prolly gonna sit in the carport until I get my fix

Leo- thanks, I think I’ll do the Reba on the way in, Hood on the way back. And I may use the backroads, turn my 7 minute drive into a 20 or 30 minute chance to get the full effect, PLUS something else.

Ok, I’m loading up on medicine and gonna check out this pretty lady we’ve been talking about

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

  10. jay Says:

    Merry Christmas every one!

  11. SillyWilly Says:

quickly commenting on how cool it is to see everyone’s high spirits today.

i know its christmas and all, but im real happy for everyone on the sweet phish scores and all the phish enthusiasm.

@Worthless Swampy Fool: Your wife just hit the Michael-Jordan -’98- Game-6-against-the-Jazz-push-off-of-Bryon-Russel-buzzer-beating-championship-winning-legend-making shot FTW.

  12. Leo Weaver Says:

Sitting in the car in the driveway to wrap up a jam…I’m notorius for that. Wife will let the dogs out to greet me when I get home and I dont’ open the door for several minutes…sorry pups. Backroad drives were made for lengthy jams…and puffs 😉

  13. SillyWilly Says:

blizzard hitting iowa today making all drives much more friendly to the lengthy jam.

hell, a drive 12 miles into town with the way its coming down right now might be a whole set

  14. Weekapaug Says:

I havn’t cought up on posts but just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I’ve uploaded tons of music to a Mediafire site to share with everyone. Click my handle and enjoy!

  15. Worthless Swampy Fool Says:

Silly Willy – Yeah, she is seriously awesome. I mean she puts up with my crap, and I am crazy about her so life is pretty good!!

RE: car jamming – yeah I will sometimes go the long way to finish a jam or stop the cd or mp3 player before a jam gets going so i don’t have to innterupt the flow.

I also notice that when listening to new Phish (ie No Spoilers) in the car I don’t get into the jams as much as when I am at home with headphones. Anybody else?

  16. ChefBradford Says:

The horror! The horror! I get in the car, start clicking through the iPod…no 12/31/93 Reba! When I installed some new programs awhile back, I lost a chunk of my music library.

Oh well, I listened to that Hood sooner than expected

I’ll dig up my lady when I get home

  17. albert walker Says:

    merry Christmas ya’ll

breaking up pit bull fights and trying figure out how to puff
    Christmas with the family

    ahh the traditions

  18. Mitch Says:

“I also love that “moogerfooger midi-murf” is a real thing”

^I second that emotion, I was wondering until you posted that if it was real or not. Great name. Like fluffernutter.

  19. Robear Says:

Merry Holidays and Happy Christmas, ya’ll!

Cool, sunny and clear in NorCal.

GF still in town. Life’s good. Off to the coast later for Sushi Christmas @ a friends.

  20. ChefBradford Says:

One of my roommates has a year-old pit, and she just had puppies 6 or 8 wks ago. 9 of them. They’re cute, but they stay inside for now, and they f-ing stink. The runt is my favorite. He’s got an attitude. Roommate’s keeping one, giving one to the daddy’s owner, selling the rest. I kind of want that runt…

  21. Robear Says:

ya’ll= so nice. A dub and I are closet hicks. Or politically correct. Or both!

Mango, just got your postcard. Thanks a ton. How’d you make that? I need to get on it. Total slacker. Didn’t send any Christmas cards this year.

  22. ChefBradford Says:

Robear, have a good one man, happy holidays

  23. Mitch Says:

merry xmas robear. glad you liked the card. my girl made them on and didnt realize it had a christmas slogan on the back (shes jewish) so that was funny when they arrived. the ones she sent out had scribbles and she wrote holidays. 🙂

  24. albert walker Says:

my first pup Millie is kind of old and sick, lives with the parents
the new guy, Miles, is a real Bastard
Millie won’t take any of his shit, makes for some fun

things sure are cute when they are that small though
get a little crazy when they get bigger though

  25. Robear Says:

thx, you too. Chef. We’ll party next summer on the southern leg of tour. Disc is burned, forthcoming.
