    @pageside: wacky Icculus nite 2 Oswego.

    @jdub: understatement of the year and it’s only Jan. 🙂 I’m already trying to make sure I can afford the gorge trip and fest 9 if it falls on rumored Columbus day. Then I have to get wife clearance. I think that what I saw from the phish in 09 does enforce the need to be a part of this community and the shows in ’10. And I totally agree that I’m not willing to budge on keeping with my 20 YO attitude about this stuff

  2. Robear Says:

    Little Miami Mix.

    ‘Piper’ is a top ’09 Version.

    Love the ‘Tweezer’, right up until the segue into ‘Caspian’. Sure, great ‘Caspian’, but it will get skipped on re-listens.

    ‘Shine A Light’ can pop up anytime, anywhere and I’m 🙂

    ‘Ghost’ next.

    BK, Red Rocks ‘Tweezer’ is tops in ’09. The rest can wrestle for position.

    @haly

    did i miss your email?

  4. chefbradford Says:

    I just ran through the Albany Seven>Ghost again. Seven still holds up for me, but other than a few sections (admittedly, for an 09 Ghost to even be long enough to have distinct passages is a plus), the Ghost just doesn’t do much for me after hearing the Miami run. And was the Miami Ghost the only one of the year in which they nailed the end of the composed section?

    Still need to get a copy of NYE, f’damnsure

  5. Lycanthropist Says:

    @chef

    i would love to be able to hook you up with NYE somehow..

    i know your pc is givin you trouble though yes?

  6. chefbradford Says:

    Yeah. Ill happily hit up LP, just havent gotten around to it. If you want to it old-school, I can send B&P 🙂

  7. Lycanthropist Says:

    This is odd. I tried to cut?paste one text msg into another. When I tapped ‘paste’, it somehow pasted all of theBoard comments from January 2. Spent the last ten minutes trying to delete them

  9. chefbradford Says:

  20. Leo Weaver Says:

    haha…it is surprisingly quiet around here today. Guess everybody is winded after yesterday’s riveting posts. I was pretty moved reading back through everything last night and this morning. Big props especially to Marshall and Butter for their honesty and generosity. I’d put off donating anything (though my wife had donated already) until I got some other expenditures out of the way…these expenditures were all things that would benefit me and my family, making our lives more comfortable and stable. After reading all the posts, I decided it was indeed time to put off donating to my own cause and give to those in much greater need in Haiti. I’ve made small donations to several different organizations including some of the lesser-known ones that were mentioned in posts here. Thanks to all for your inspiration in helping me do something I should’ve done a couple of days ago.

    Also had the pleasure of having lunch, beers, and a few hours with the board’s own El Duderino. Yet another person from here I’ve met who has reinforced my thought that this is a community of great folks.

  21. Leo Weaver Says:

    hey lycan…actually workin’ on some paul simon here…pretty sweet for a lazy sunday afternoon

  22. pagesidehighschool Says:

    @Lycan I remember seeing that link to the Marvin show do you remember what page it’s on

  23. Paul Says:

    So a question. I was listening to one of Miner’s DJ mixes, the one titled “The Third” and I was wondering if anyone had a tracklist for it? Thanks. Some great stuff on it and i’d love to hear the songs these jams sprout from.

  24. Lycanthropist Says:

    @page

    im not sure… its buried somewhere over the 80 pages of the last post

  25. Lycanthropist Says:

    i can forward you the email though..
