the dick that was talking shit about phish responded to someone on the green board. i think he received a few calles and e-mails telling him he sucks.
“You just added to the Phish fan stereotype…humorless and take yourselves way too seriously.
If you’ve ever listened to me or our radio station you would know that I make fun of everything and everybody…including saving the worst for myself.
The fact is, because of me…we play more phish than any mainstream commercial radio station in the country. I am solely responsible for adding their music and playing the new singles. I also believe that Phish belongs in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, not for their music but contribution to the industry in basically creating how musicians use the internet.

@KWL – Lonnie Thompson is the guy who gathered all the ice core samples from the the mountains around the equator to study the particles in the ice. Very interesting, he stayed at OSU b/c they funded his research when nobody else would. He could have left for the top schools, but stayed.
He’s interesting. I’m sure there is Wiki info on him.

Can I just say that i just had a refreshing cold winter nite drive home pumping the Gorge 09 Moma at volume 11? look back into that one…Mike clearly has the bull by the horns.
So, just finished Freaks and Geeks
That was a great ending; it left a lot of things open, of course, but overall just fit to end the show.
This was a great series. It really took the time to flesh out all of the characters instead of rushing the character development like some shows have. Great story, great characters, just a fantastic show. Wish there was another season but I’m not complaining
I did like the GD and American Beauty references sprinkled throughout the final episode.
