I’m not much of a speller. Plus I tend to rush when I type.

I have a lot of issues, those are just a few

    7/12/99 What’s The Use?

    I love it.

  3. stitchstash Says:

No neemor, I had no intention on getting married. I’m not sure how to make that story longer without going into every detail.

my 1st dose was at my 1st Dead show. Cap Centre ’92 or ’93 don’t remember. I know Jerry played Dark star and Morning Dew though. quite the experience. overall a very positive experience. Except driving through the drug checkpoint on the way home tripping balls. Yikes

Palmer: Look at that unicorn! NPH

    One of my all-time faves.

  9. ChefBradford Says:

Y’know, if any of you had mentioned that Joe Flaherty (sp?) was on Freaks and Geeks when you were talking about it last night, I’d have stopped what I was doing and started watching it then

That guy has been around in comedy for like 35 years, he’s hilarious

  10. Mr. Palmer Says:

Enlighten me re” Freeks and Geeks” when is it on? what channel?

  11. stitchstash Says:

Brandon, that is still one of my favorite shows to date. I was given backstage passes for that show too. Although I left, soon after mike and Fishman walked into the room.

  12. Mr. Palmer Says:

Neemor- classic scene. i actually enjoy that movie. NPH is great in it. luckily i wasn’t the one driving. Although one of the other passengers had a sheet on him that no one new about till after. our car was not pulled over, thankfully.

  13. BrandonKayda Says:

Hah, that’s pretty cool Stitch. This Gumbo is blowing me away right now, much like the AC/DC Bag that came before it. Fantastic show.

Palmer: Check youtube. I have found every episode on there (in 5 parts per episode because of the 10min limit). It is also on Surf The Channel (if you have Firefox/Adobe Flash Player)

I’ve been to one phish show (f8), and unfortunately missed TWO sets! The first set was missed because the greyhound bus from LA to Indio left unannounced from a gate labeled something other than Indio, so my friend and I had to catch a bus two hours later, finished setting up our tent as set one ended… Then I missed the second set on Sunday because I had an absolutely filthy cold all weekend, not helped by heat caused dehydration and the poor nutrition created by spending all our money on tickets/transportation/drugs. I spent all but the last couple songs of that set lying in the tent coughing up phlegm into a water bottle so I didn’t have to go outside everytime…

Ironically, Saturday of festival eight was my first time dosing (took two crappy hits at noonish, took two fucking amazing hits on the way in to the exile set, sold to us by a gentleman in a lizard costume) and I didn’t miss a single set from it. I did have a hell of a walk back to the tent in search of our weed between exile and set three saturday, what with the fire, the people, the darkness, the costumes, the empty polo field oscillating like mad… And then the golf cart pirate ship on the way back in… Good times!

after listening to what I have for the 4.24 shows, you are probably just as good going with something from the spreadhseet or phishows unless you have a better source available. mine aren’t what I’d call great…

  16. stitchstash Says:

Wow garretc, you got a lot of experience at your first show. You live and you learn.

  17. whole tour! Says:

“NPH wouldn’t do something like that!”

  18. garretc Says:

Alright type III, thanks for checking those out for me though!

And yeah, stitch, it wasn’t exactly an ideal experiece, but I still had an amazing time, and you can’t get too mad at bad luck… (at least I can’t…)

  19. Neemor Says:

    Good job, guys.

  20. Chuck D Says:

getting/feeling sick after taking multiple doses from multiple strangers does not surprise me at all… also, common sense things like “don’t put your hands in that and then rub your eyes” seem to go out the window too, especially first time round the block.

  21. garretc Says:

It wasn’t a “I took too many drugs” sickness though, it was just a really bad cold that hit me about wednesday before Halloween weekend and stuck with me until the weekend afterwards…

  22. Neemor Says:

Jesus, if that Boise Bag isn’t “Type III” jamming, I’ve not heard what is.

  23. Neemor Says:

Tripping with a cold = bunk.

  24. whole tour! Says:

I’m finally almost over a cold i picked up in miami. It is kinda a given your gonna get a little sick after spending 4 days in a room with thousands upon thousands of people from all over the country/world. Not to mention the countless spliffs, one hitters, bowls, and hotel bingers that are passed around constantly…bound to get a little sick. You gotta pay to play though. There is no easy way to gamehendge and back.

Totally worth a little sickness to ride the back of the worm!
