Oh yeah, yesterday, I believe, there was some talk re: TAB concerts for the unfamiliar, and I was wondering if anyone had any sources for downloading those? Can those be found in the usual Phish spots or will I need to search elsewhere?

No, there is uncertainty at times and that makes it stressfull for the major provider for a family of four. Currently, my position globally is under review for ‘optimization’ and reagrdless of my historical performance I could be out of a role, an otherwise light role for me where at 12% output I can still acheive given targets. I would then likely get reprovisioned into a new role. Who knows…

I am sort of having anidentity crisis about what I want to do when I grow up. I have thought about buying a boat and moving to mexico and changing my name to El Horchata and taking tourons(tourist+morons) para-sailing.

You know phamily, if you can get past the relative poverty you would have to reside in under that scenario, there are certainly worse professions than living on a mexican beach piloting a boat around all day…

    @ Big Nasty,

I’ve been meaning to check that movie out, good to hear you liked it.

David Bowie’s son directed it. His debut film.

  5. Robear Says:

llfa @ phamily b. I’m willing to be a touron at least once a year at your place.

Wished I could have seen more summer ’03. Young daughter, new house kept me close to home. I’m with AW. I did LA > Vegas. Some great moments, also left with a WTF, where is this headed feeling. Had a great two days at Shoreline, 7/9, 10/03, Waterwheel and lots of family and friends. The 9th is one of my favorite shows I’ve seen live. I did IT, in a weird state of mind. On listen back, it’s a great two days.

Couldn’t believe it when I got the downloads of the ’04 Vegas. I could hear a real disturbance in the force.

  6. Chuck D Says:

Pham, you must be familiar with Vampire Weekend’s new album, with the opening track named “Horchata”, no?

My thoughts exactly. It was the first and only time(up to that point) that i actually had to literally turn off my stereo it was so poor. This is something unheard of in my entire phish career. I literally wanted a refund, and i had never felt that way ever.

New Vampire Weekend is out? How is it? Loved the debut

good stuff today…too much work for me…love the “overserved” stories.

someone here at work (that i manage actually) said i was “addicted” to this board which makes me think early morning and end of day check-ins might be the way to go the rest of the week. hrm.

  12. BingosBrother Says:

@BigNasty : I also saw Moon last night. Wow. What a flick. Feel like a dick even calling it a flick. Great movie. Highly recommended.

new MGMT got pushed back to mid-april if that’s your cup…

  14. Chuck D Says:

On Horchata by Vampire Weekend: I think its decent, B or B- from me. I’m not huge on them to begin with. Some catchy tunes, very interesting overall sound, just makes me think of Paul Simon. My buddy who loves them, loves the new disc.

I don’t know if its “out” out, but you can listen to it in its entirety on their myspace.

  15. Chuck D Says:

err, Contra is the name of the disc, Horchata is the first track.

just let me go home and blaze please.

  16. Chuck D Says:

anyone in management say I can go home?
