So far the numbers in MA are pretty shocking! I hope everyone got out and voted today.

    Southie represent 🙂

  2. Mr. Palmer Says:

Looks like Brown is going to take it. Shocking to say the least. The irony that the seat vacated by Ted Kennedy may be the one that derails this health care bill. Fascinating

  3. oldskool Says:

Martha was up 15% two weeks ago, unbelievable…

  4. Lycanthropist Says:

    whats goin on everybody?

Man i zoned on that 10-27-95 show. I am speechless right now, I gotta listen again for more. That 2001 > David Bowie is ridiculous.

I can’t wait to listen agian

Lycan- I have a GPS lined up, so if there’s any info I’ll need (addresses, etc), just e-mail me in the next couple of days. I’ll likely find a ho/motel when I arrive, or after the show if necessary. Is there a decent cab service in H-burg?

  6. oldskool Says:

Scott Brown has won. I cannot believe it 🙁

  7. whole tour! Says:

Politics is like dog shit. It stinks!

  8. pagesidehighschool Says:

Mass politics are f’d up! At least the art scene is all good, there’s a good article on yemblog from the Boston herald on Gordon and his moms art installation

  9. KWL Says:

to keep working or to have a beer & relax? that is the question

  10. whole tour! Says:

    frankie sez: relax!

  11. KWL Says:

well, if frankie sez, I guess I’ll kick it 10-2-99 style

  12. halcyon Says:

@ KWL….aren’t you in geography? do you work with any gis products? I am looking into that as a new career path…

  13. KWL Says:

I am, but I don’t do GIS… at least not yet, that’s where the money is in this field

  14. halcyon Says:

@kwl….yeah we are migrating to a new GIS program at our company, and am thinking that this is a career path I would like to be on.

  15. KWL Says:

it is certainly a growth industry

  16. KWL Says:

I have been thinking about getting into it too for the last couple years, but I don’t need it for what I do, & just haven’t made the time yet… probably will though, if for nothing else than it looks better on the old job aps

  17. halcyon Says:

yeah GIS software is extremely powerful, and a growth industry. I think it is a skill set that has longevity. Plus it seems really engaging.

  18. KWL Says:

if/when we both learn GIS, we can collaborate on a phish project that puts together geographical information on different tour stops

  19. Gratefulcub Says:

Hi guys, I haven’t been around a while because I couldn’t figure out what to replace Ray Ray with. Finally figured it out.

  20. garretc Says:

Yee! Write on gratefulcub! That must be the little one?

  21. KWL Says:

    nice, cub!!!

  22. halcyon Says:

@ KWL…maybe with remote sensing we can determine their tour dates before they even announce them,

  23. whole tour! Says:

    congrats cub!

  24. BTB Says:

Center the tour around areas with a lot of glacial till.

One good thing about OSU was the geology department. I think we had the 2nd largest GEO Library in North America.

@KWL – did I ever tell you I took a class with climatologist Lonnie Thompson? Not sure if you are familiar with his work or not.

  25. butter Says:

heard a rumor today that F9 will be back at Indio around Columbus Day
