  1. WHAT!WHAT! Says:

Phish at Wrigley would lift the Curse…….In order to achieve such feats they will play a second set epic Ghost. And instead of Calling it Ghost, it will be GOAT….”Have I told you the story of the GOAT”

  2. Litteringand Says:

Also Wrigley went down that would be the perfect tour opener as opposed to DC

  3. SillyWilly Says:

    Ive never been to Wrigley…

Im a Cardinals fan, so how fitting would it be that my first time at Wrigley would be to see Phish?

  4. WHAT!WHAT! Says:

“…..There are many decent hardworking individuals like myself who is educated and has a job” …

maybe I’m not educated enough, but am I the only one seeing a problem with this contradiction.

  5. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

phish wrigley would be sweet! good call on the TMOTTBG after the “7th”, litteringand. that would be very fitting.

crazy to think that at one point phish played the Cubby Bear waaaaaaaaay back in 1991.

if this is the tour opener, is it now a trend to open summer tours with baseball stadium shows? what’s next year? Camden Yards?

  6. Mitch Says:

I’ll count it. Might have to be more cautious with vacation days. I was thinking if the deer creek days are true I can go home for the Indy 500 and Phish back to back weekends. The fam also wants to take a trip and I wanna do gorge and now wrigley. What will I do with all the east coast shows? My rationale is always “but it’s only 4 hours and there’s megabus”

Initiate stock piling of days off.

On a side note, fuck the whorebag that just sat next to me on the train with mang bags, the heaviest of which was dropped to the floor, only to be brought to a soft landing BY MY FOOT (me left toes actually) she then proceeds to organize her stuff, all the while it’s still heavy and still on my foot. I yank my foot out and she can’t even say “my bad” or “fuck you” or anything. What a piece of work.

  7. fat bastard Says:

    are educated

  8. SillyWilly Says:

i believe the verb “to be” in that sentence should not be singular (is) but plural (are). simple antecedent confusion.

  9. willowed Says:

    antecedent….what does that mean?

Me educated, but me not know what that mean.

  10. willowed Says:

I use the term educated loosley

  11. gavinsdad Says:

is it blasphemous to say that i wouldn’t mind an Access Me swapped in for Ocelot every time? If they added a nifty little tail end jam onto it…mebbe even one that served as a segue…i’d take it.

  12. Stir it with a Ladle Says:

Wrigley would be unreal, just epic….

  13. SillyWilly Says:

what i wrote is actually wrong…an antecedent means “after”…”ant” always means after. “pre” always means before. precedent is a more common word and is the antonym of antecedent.

    ok. ill stop.

    language gets me giddy.

  14. Mitch Says:

    Story of the GOAT, classic.

Silly, would be a nice way to see wrigley. Everyone at Phish is happy. No muss no fuss.

I actually laughed when I read that guy trying to make a point of being educated and then he messed up his grammarz.

Camden yards would be dope too. Phish will need their own plaque next to Griffey on the wall over right field for knocking one out of the park.

  15. Neemor Says:

“maybe I’m not educated enough, but am I the only one seeing a problem with this contradiction.”

I was willing to let it slide, figured it was a midwest thang.

  16. Neemor Says:

    Wrigley would be like….well…….Fenway.

  17. Mitch Says:

  18. willowed Says:

Thanks! I need to read more books. I feel my brain is deteriorating as I get older.

    Hell, I’m only 33.

I can only imagine what I’ll be like when I’m 60. I’ll just sit on the couch and pee and crap myself while drinking soup out of a straw!

  19. marcoesq Says:

    Mitch, yes

Camden Yards would be epic, confirmed

  20. SillyWilly Says:

Phish would be such a contrast to the cubs.

One always wins. One always loses.

and I always smile at both.

  21. marcoesq Says:

They could open up the plaza at Camden and have Boog’s BBQ raging, great park

Petco Park in San Diego would be sweet too, although much more modern

  22. Albert Walker Says:

No Chicago show yet in 3.0
No real good outdoor venues within city limits

I live a few blocks away so I’m going, but can’t say I fully support the concept.

I saw the Police there, had decent seats, and the sound was still terrible.

The only thing more terrible than the sound was the crowd.
Wrigleyville is a very strange place indeed.

Pretty much stopped going to Cubs games for the same reason, and I pretty much bleed blue.

From what I hear of the Fenway Phish experience, it sounds like it went down similar to my feelings on how Wrigley would end up.

Frat boys acting like they do.

Realized I saw the first 5 shows of 2003 now that Miner updated the Archive.
Don’t have any memories of the music but I did that whole run from LA through Chicago.
Besides totaling two cars between vegas and Denver memories are hazy to say the least

Maybe have to check em out again

  23. Mitch Says:

nelly is a Midwest thaaaang. Poor grammar is an ignant thing.

Really would be cool to start off each summer tour at a new baseball stadium. That way we can actually see the inside of them without paying $150. Plus we get to stand on the moist green organic.

  24. gavinsdad Says:

i’m never gonna be able to pull off all the phish related plans i have in my head.

  25. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

actually, antecedent is correct (as would be precedent, though with a slightly different meaning). the prefix ante– means before (think antebellum) while the prefix for “after” would be sub-.

the difference between antecedent and precedent is that precedent is usually used as a noun (as in a legal precedent) while antecedent is usually seen as an adjective (as in an antecedent act). However, both words can be either a noun or an adjective.
