    Butter, that’s abominable.

  2. butter Says:

    yahtzee

  3. Luther Justice Says:

    @ butter

    You got mail

  4. BrandonKayda Says:

    Thanks Selector, appreciate the help

    That Reba is a monster

  5. Mr.Miner Says:

“Looking back at the 2/16/03 show.

    What is ‘Friday’, the encore?”

@ Robear b/c Trey was poking fun of all the weekend warriors. 😉 (That was my take at the time)

  6. BrandonKayda Says:

….22min Drowned to close the first set of 6-20-04…WOW

That’s a whole lot of jamming for a first set, especially considering the four song second set in that show

  7. Mr. Completely Says:

ok wow so my wife just gets home and tells me that DSO is coming to town at some point before long and now it seems that the guy from the Zen Tricksters is playing guitar in DSO which makes him…that’s right…

    FAKE FAKE JERRY

  8. Mr. Completely Says:

damn butter beat me to it!

she also said re: everyone being fake someone, that she wants to be fake Mike “so she can see how weird it is”

  9. Mr. Completely Says:

that Friday encore was a harsh moment

those 2 vegas shows epitomize 03 overall for me Robear

mixed feelings is a good way to put it

  10. Mr. Completely Says:

but the highs are very high

    love the jam in piper

  11. halcyon Says:

I thought the Zen Tricksters had been around a lot longer than DSO. If they have, then the guy playing with Phil and Bob is the fake fake jerry. Which would make DSO playing with the fake Jerry. Which of the 2 would you play with? The fake Jerry or the fake fake jerry?

  12. Luther Justice Says:

Some day, Fake Fake Jerry might get the call to the Big Leagues like Fake Jerry. What if Jerry fathered the fakes and now, in his absence, they are rising to finish his work.

  13. sumodie Says:

my memory is so abominable, i cant recall if this rumor was posted here:

the sherman theater’s facebook page says it will have an announcement on monday that phish fans will love. green board claims its a benefit for haiti. must be a new TAB show id guess.

sherman theater is in Stroudsbourg, PA. i doubt i spelled that right. stay tuned…

  14. garretc Says:

No halcyon, you’ve got it all wrong… When ZT and DSO were distinct un-member trading organizations, there were 2, count em, 2 fake Jerrys. But now one fake Jerry has left (DSO obv), and so the other fake Jerry fills in for him, but he’s not the “real’ fake Jerry, he is, instead, the “fake” fake Jerry…

And now I’ve reached the point where the word fake more or less loses its meaning and just becomes a funny sound… haha

  15. Joe Says:

I just saw that Further is playing my old stomping grounds at Umass (tripped out one night in a not quite completed Mullins Center). Hadn’t really had too much of urge to go see them, especially since Trey will satisfy my live musical cravings a few days before fake jerry and co come to town but now I think I might have to turn back the clock along with the others chasing the past.

speaking of Trey at the House of Blues in Boston….who’s got my extra?

  16. sumodie Says:

She also said re: everyone being fake someone, that she wants to be fake Mike “so she can see how weird it is”

@mrC: your wife sounds awesome -i wanna party with her (& with you too, together, of course 🙂

  17. gus Says:

@Joe – i could POSSIBLY have an extra to the trey show at the House of Blues, what’s your email? i’ll let you know within the next few hours. don’t count on it though, the last i heard from my friend (who has extras) was about two weeks ago so they might be all gone.

  18. Joe Says:

gus, not a problem…I figure I can make a last minute call or two anyway.

Got an old show from 12/1/92 (another livephish release I guess) on Gone Phishin on Sirius radio right now. The same hyhu>Love You as Miami. Just funny (or sad) to think that they are doing the same schtick and I still enjoy it after all these years.

  19. Robear Says:

No really, what is the song, Miner. re: ‘Friday’ I don’t have it anywhere. Well, downloading it now. I’ll get back to ya’ll.

What a contrarian. The man that plays to the moment, but wants to flame off the ‘weekend warrior’. hmmmm. Those were the first west coast shows in a long time. Hard to hit them all.

  20. Joe Says:

Robear, Friday is a slow song that probably 3 or 4 people like from RoundRoom. Surprised that it wasn’t included in the worst song poll from a few weeks ago. (I was actually looking for my copy of RoundRoom earlier today but didn’t see it where I thought it was)

  21. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    @robear

    http://phish.net/song/friday/history

surprise, surprise, it’s off of Round Room…

  22. Mr. Completely Says:

the “Friday encore” became kind of legendary in 2.0 among my friends as epitomizing everything that was wrong with Phish’s judgment at the time…they encored with it at least a few times…brutal

  23. Little Buddy Says:

Hampton 1/4/03 wasn’t the greatest show in the world, but it was one of my greatest Phish experiences. Major epiphany during MIkes>Mist and WTU – hard to explain. Unfortunately it was also one of those Friday encore shows, I think.

  24. butter Says:

can’t wait to listen to Miami

just heard some of 12/30 last night
corrina was beautiful, chalkdust was ultra tight

  25. Mr. Completely Says:

    oh you haven’t listened back?

    it holds up
