Who’s got two thumbs, one car and an overwhelming desire to camp with a wild pack of crazies?
    This guy.
    Put me down as such….

  4. Mr. Completely Says:

LLFA at the thought of Robear causing trouble on the ESPN boards…what topic are you blowing up?

I just made my hotel reservations for summer 2011. amateurs.

  5. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

my crew has already had two planning meetings to discuss preparation for wherever the next festy is held. Indio? Great! Sign me up! Limestone? Awesome! Probably take me longer to get there than Indio, but sure! Somewhere else? It don’t matter, we’ll be there!

  6. Gratefulcub Says:

Leo, go to DC. It’s new and improved: you can walk to the Olive Garden from the show!!!

  7. beepaphone Says:

    Unlimited breadsticks!

  8. KWL Says:

@HH, good to see you on here during the day. Don’t get fired now!! 😉 (too soon?)

how is the ‘new’ job going by the way

  9. marcoesq Says:

said there was an error expanding the fall ’97 mix

downloaded but I couldn’t get it to work

  10. Neemor Says:

    Festival 2011
    aka ‘Gone’

  11. verno329 Says:

@marco damn, I’ll have to take a look at it when i get home. did any of the others work?

  12. Gratefulcub Says:

Beep, last time I did sleepy bear, they had a particle wanna be band playing all night, and took a cut from the nitrous boys. It was miserable, I swore I would never go back. I’m a close by man. But, the SB locale is so perfect. Soundcheck from your homebase.

  13. beepaphone Says:

@ cub sheesh when was that?

  14. Gratefulcub Says:

03? Pretty sure. The only sound worse than tanks is some jackass playing spacey electro keys all night long. Combine the two, add the headier than thou passing out on balloons…..

No sweat though, a yellow bar a night and I slept through it.

  15. marcoesq Says:

I’m on Fall pt. 2, downloading now. i’ll let you know

  16. marcoesq Says:

“they had a particle wannabe band playing all night”

wow, since partilce IS the ultimate “wannabe” band I can’t imagine what those clowns sounded like

  17. verno329 Says:

I’m downloading part 1 myself and see if I have the same error

  18. beepaphone Says:

Never done close by but it seems like a nice spot…usually do Dead Creek or Timber Ho. If there’s a consensus to camp elsewhere I’m totally down.

  19. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

dang, I forgot about the gooey awesomeness that is the Gorge Sally. That jam is like a cold glass of chocolate milk on a hot day.

  20. beepaphone Says:

They didn’t need a deposit for the res so it’s all good

  21. marcoesq Says:

Fall pt. 2 worked but it’s saying “summer jams”

dont care either way, I’m psyched to listen. just wanted to let you know

  22. Gratefulcub Says:

Not trying to influence the decision, just a neutral observer. SB does get packed though. The others offer larger swathes of land. Our closeby site had 40 tents and 80 kids this year. Yet, somehow, I was still missing a few of my regulars.

  23. beepaphone Says:

Plus the BBQ might require a peppadew stew, and Mitch and I’ll need someone to drink bourbon with.

  24. Lycanthropist Says:

i suppose it makes sense when you put it that way..

funny is the quote came from a our guitar player’s girl (which the interviewer didn’t know her).

  25. beepaphone Says:

Word cub…space is just as important as proximity IMO
