LOST Discussion Thread:

In order to preserve everyone’s personal journey through the six seasons of LOST, I have created a specific post/thread to discuss this week’s episode. Keeping LOST discussion to this location will keep people who are behind from reading spoilers – because that is the worst. Please respect this and keep all show commentary in the previous post.

Jam of the Day:

2001 > Simple” 11.18.96 II

This is one of the first jammed out “2001’s,” coming before Trey began playing ’97 funk licks – a psychedelic combination. And the “Simple,” included on the extra disc of “Vegas ’96,” is simply sublime.

Good evening BB. For Dark Star fans, let me suggest the Dark Star from 11-15-71. Very trippy. The full sequence goes Dark Star>Jam>El Paso>Jam>Casey Jones. They go from other worldly jams into El Paso & Casey Jones and make it work. GD at their best.

  2. Brandon Kayda Says:

    C –

What is this “Miami Dark Star” you guys have been talking about lately? Is that the one from 91′ or is this different?

Oh, and thanks for the 75′ show, grabbing now

“The greenboard is like a hot girl you know has something. You know it’s dirty, but it’s still facinating in a way…… Do you venture in and use protection or just stay away?”

Finally got my hands on neemsbane!

“can anybody point a brother in the right direction to find a site with phish
song lyrics? ive made it my goal before any further shows to understand lyrics better. For me the instrument arrangement has always been in the spotlight, while lyrics remain in the background.”

  8. garretc Says:

Does anyone have any idea why “album artwork is not modifiable” when I import WAV files into itunes? I’d really like to match up the awesome “Hunter’s Trix” album art w/ the equally as awesome (especially the sound!) music…

  9. neemor Says:

    Oooooh, that’s a good run.
    Nice call.
You down? Or do you need something less ‘ethereal’?
I’m not sure that that’s even a real question.
Like what would you want, something ‘normal’ and not ‘awesome’?

  10. neemor Says:

    Wish I could help, garret…

  11. Mr. Palmer Says:

Just heard some very exciting news for anyone down south. Major renovations will begin on Stegman Coliseum (UGA b-ball arena in Athens, Ga) starting in April. As us Athens folks know, we have no decent size arena to hold concerts for bands who demand 12,000 and up capacity. WELL WE DO NOW! Don’t want jinx anything but talk of the phab phour back in Athens used to be a pipe dream. Fingers crossed! Fall tour 2011!

  18. neemor Says:

Gotta do 7.1, put it in context when I spin 7.2 right after!

Give yourself a little gold star.
Or maybe a pat on the back.

  23. neemor Says:

    Slowed down, funky Ghost opener.
Clearly they were on a mission on this night.

  24. Mr. Palmer Says:
