LOST Discussion Thread:

In order to preserve everyone’s personal journey through the six seasons of LOST, I have created a specific post/thread to discuss this week’s episode. Keeping LOST discussion to this location will keep people who are behind from reading spoilers – because that is the worst. Please respect this and keep all show commentary in the previous post.

Jam of the Day:

2001 > Simple” 11.18.96 II

This is one of the first jammed out “2001’s,” coming before Trey began playing ’97 funk licks – a psychedelic combination. And the “Simple,” included on the extra disc of “Vegas ’96,” is simply sublime.

oh wow @ cub- enjoy. I’m on my third girl now- 5 months. Little girls rock! (that sounds creepy…but you know what i meant)

  2. Mr. Palmer Says:

i like Horn. perfect little song in between monster jams. Great riff as well. Didn’t play many Horn’s Fall tour or NYE run i don’t think

    @ garret

not sure if this is what you mean but if you import those Hunter’s Trix files into iTunes, the art will not automatically come along with the files. You have to highlight all the tracks from that show, then drag and drop the JPEG from the show’s folder into the album art space in the lower left corner of iTunes.

Either that or, after highlighting all the tracks, right-click any of them, go to “info” > “artwork” and browse to find the JPEG.

hope that helps, and anyone feel free to improve my instructions.

  4. Gratefulcub Says:

    I do Palmer, I do.

I do love the 97 Ghosts, and Fall 97 as a whole. But, over the past few days i have discovered how much I love Euro Summer and US Summer 98. For me, the 7/2 Copenhagen Ghost may be the best Phish song.

But, set two at the Gorge, 2001>Mikes>Weekapaug>zero might be the best Phish set ever. 60 minutes of nasty dirty aquafunk

  5. neemor Says:

Palmer, Ernie biffs the Horn a little bit, but Trey makes up for it…Ya Mar.

  6. neemor Says:

    “aquafunk”

Not sure I’ve ever heard this before.
    I like it tons.

  7. ohhphee Says:

    @Lycan

Those are all solid tunes – definite keepers. Perfect show to come home

    from work to.

Feeling good! The neemsbane goes well with it.

  8. Lycanthropist Says:

    Thanks so much oophee

now that we have debuted them i am anxious to take them out some…

  9. Mr. Palmer Says:

I second that offphee- loved the new songs. Parking lot was badass

  10. neemor Says:

Mike’s slamming his footbell in this YaMar

  11. Mr. Palmer Says:

If i could teleport back in-time and see any phish shows i missed. i think my choices would be 1. Cypress 2. Paradiso ’97 …..discuss

  12. ohhphee Says:

Yeah. Definitely take them out! Gotta split now – just wanted to share my thoughts.

  13. neemor Says:

    Baby Limb is gorgeous, too.

  14. neemor Says:

    Cypress was legendary.

I would like to have hit the Ball.

  15. Mr. Palmer Says:

Fishman owns L X L- his song IMO- his drumming is sick.

  16. neemor Says:

But if my flux capacetor broke down in ’97, I’d stay.

Mike’s Limb vocals are as good as I’ve ever heard him sing.

  17. Mr. Palmer Says:

The Ball was a lotta fun. We felt like pioneers.

  18. neemor Says:

    Holy shit, Trey.
    Favorite Limb ever?

  19. Gratefulcub Says:

What show would you go back and attend that you didn’t?

I was to Big C, so it has to be Europe 97 or 98. I think the 3 night Copenhagen 98 run.

  20. neemor Says:

    Eurotrash.

llfa, not even sure what that means!

  21. Luther Justice Says:

Cypress will always be my biggest regret. This has been reinforced by spinning KP’s Cypress auds this week.

Clifford Ball is the only Phish festival I’ve been to. And I don’t know why.

  22. neemor Says:

    Seriously, this is something.

  23. Mr. Palmer Says:

I did the Ball and Oswego (does that count)

  24. Mr. Palmer Says:

    Shredding this Limb

  25. Marshall Says:

I would hit the MSG holiday runs in the mid 90s
