LOST Discussion Thread:

In order to preserve everyone’s personal journey through the six seasons of LOST, I have created a specific post/thread to discuss this week’s episode. Keeping LOST discussion to this location will keep people who are behind from reading spoilers – because that is the worst. Please respect this and keep all show commentary in the previous post.

Jam of the Day:

2001 > Simple” 11.18.96 II

This is one of the first jammed out “2001’s,” coming before Trey began playing ’97 funk licks – a psychedelic combination. And the “Simple,” included on the extra disc of “Vegas ’96,” is simply sublime.

Oswego wad not an official festival at the time but is one of the 8 now.

  2. neemor Says:

You would’ve had to have tried really hard to have been in attendance for this and not have had your life changed forever by this show.

Project A: *Cut out all the useless words in this sentence and dissect to it’s simplest form.*

  11. neemor Says:

What Mike just pulled to kick off ‘Saw It Again’ was just DIRTY!

  12. neemor Says:

    It’s a JJ Cale tune.

    Weird.

    Neemor! With Neemsbane! Congrats!

  16. HarryHood Says:

To celebrate, I’m gonna spin 7/1 with you. Where you at? I’ll cue it up

  17. Gratefulcub Says:

You are just getting warmed up Neemor. The show is known for ‘wormtown’ but it’s really all about the Gin>Cities.

I’m like Robear, it’s hard to say ‘best’ this ‘best’ that, I like his terminology, so I shall swipe it: Top Shelf Cities. It sits beside the 18 year old bourbons collecting dust waiting for someone whose serious about what they drink.

  18. Gratefulcub Says:

We are all over the place, I’m at Cities, but my limited time meant I had to sample.

  19. Larry Sellers Says:

hell yeah man. ain’t love funny has been my favorite covers since my first listen of 7/1/97 amsterdam. Really good tune especially coming out of thick funk which I believe happened both times the song was played. The other being at alpine latter that year. I think?

  20. HarryHood Says:

    I think Neemor passed out….

  21. Mr. Palmer Says:

    Reba@ Hood

  22. butter Says:

    Anderson Valley Brewing Co.

    Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout

  23. HarryHood Says:

Wow, you guys are all over the place!

    Grateful is on Cities
    Palmer is on Reba
    Neemor is on the floor

  24. Gratefulcub Says:

worms are hard to ride while bane.d, maybe he fell off

  25. Luther Justice Says:

I agree Gratefulcub. This Cities has always been one of my fav versions. Once you hear it, you never forget it.
