LOST Discussion Thread:

In order to preserve everyone’s personal journey through the six seasons of LOST, I have created a specific post/thread to discuss this week’s episode. Keeping LOST discussion to this location will keep people who are behind from reading spoilers – because that is the worst. Please respect this and keep all show commentary in the previous post.

Jam of the Day:

2001 > Simple” 11.18.96 II

This is one of the first jammed out “2001’s,” coming before Trey began playing ’97 funk licks – a psychedelic combination. And the “Simple,” included on the extra disc of “Vegas ’96,” is simply sublime.

JJ Cale is the most underated/overlooked American musician. most people think Clapton wrote after midnight and cocaine. I was one of those people untill a friend gave me a copy of new years 1976 in OK city, real sweet

hahaha awesome y’all are getting Wormtowned! I fucking adore those shows obviously. I love it when it gets super weird like that. classic

@cub “For me, the 7/2 Copenhagen Ghost may be the best Phish song.”

nice. that has been my favorite single track since I first got the disks a couple weeks after the show. long term, it gets more play than any other phish track. my favorite phish jam style is “transcendent” and that Ghost is the epitome…

@silly i knew exactly how you meant it

@lycan, not yet. I am 100% fully involved in a music project right now, only listening to one thing, much more obsessively than usual. probably not gonna hit the wall for about a week. when I do I’ll need a lot of completely different tunes and CF is among a handful of things I have on tap…very much looking forward to it

  10. Mr. Palmer Says:

I think Neemor is riding the back of the worm through the mean streets of central CT.

  11. Luther Justice Says:

The worm will return him for the set break

  12. pagesidehighschool Says:

Anyone seen “Deathproof” there’s a lot of music on that soundtrack that it is like cale’s music. Deep from the middle of America, never got the recognition it deserved

Damn…looks like I missed the que on 7.1.97…great fuckin’ show. I did 7.2 last weekend, no slouch. Got 11.29.98 II in the DVD player right now, sound cranked, enjoying my neemsbane. and a coupla Dogfish 90 minute. things got a little wicked during Simple, Gin has been bliss.

@butter…thanks bro. My store has a couple of the russian River selections, Piny the Elder, and Blind Pig IPA I think…I’ll check ’em out, esp the Bling Pig – I love me some Two hearted. Also had Mendocino brewery, and fishing river or something like that maybe. Thanks for the info…always looking for tasty new brews to go with the other treats 🙂

JJ Cale doesn’t get his due…an amazing and sorely underrated songwriter…everybody know so many of his songs unfortunately without realizing who it is….

I got to do some of Michael Jackson’s fav drug, prophynol, today due to surgery. I’m supposed to make any critical decisions until 3:00 tomorrow. After I finish 7-1-97, what should I listen to next. I shouldn’t make this kind of decision. Please help.
