LOST Discussion Thread:

In order to preserve everyone’s personal journey through the six seasons of LOST, I have created a specific post/thread to discuss this week’s episode. Keeping LOST discussion to this location will keep people who are behind from reading spoilers – because that is the worst. Please respect this and keep all show commentary in the previous post.

Jam of the Day:

2001 > Simple” 11.18.96 II

This is one of the first jammed out “2001’s,” coming before Trey began playing ’97 funk licks – a psychedelic combination. And the “Simple,” included on the extra disc of “Vegas ’96,” is simply sublime.

(not expecting anyone to buy them, I just think it’s hilarious that you can make a joke like that, and bam, they exist – I love living in the future)

(of course, you are welcome to actually buy one)

  2. neemor Says:

That bass had the most solid feel of any guitar I’ve ever picked up.
Although, now that I think of it….I have only picked up a handful of basses.

I wonder if Mike’s is really heavy.
    I bet it is.
    Real heavy.

  3. BTB Says:

Favorite cop phrase is “high grade”

Looks like he was selling some high grade dope. Street value…probably $60,000

  4. BTB Says:

Modulus are dope basses. Yes, heavy. Most 5 strings are though.

  5. Luther Justice Says:

Nice Mr. C! Grateful cub will have to get one. When looking back at baby photos with your child years down the road – what a great time to talk to your child about w00ks! It’s a conversation parents don’t want to have – but it might save their headie someday.

  6. neemor Says:

When ‘Wook Down’ product first was introduced to us by Mr.C, someone mentioned that they were going to buy a ‘Wook Down’ Tote Bag for grandma for Christmas.
    Still holds up.

  7. ChefBradford Says:

I forgot about Segal’s show. Somewhere down around Baton Rouge, I think?

    Neemor

Dude. Sorry about last night, man. Was out of sorts. My bad. If/when we meet, you are owed a bowl or a beer, whichever I can get my hands on

  8. Mr. Completely Says:

hahaha the Seagal thing is unreal

    hilarious @BTB, literal LOL here

  9. neemor Says:

“Meow, we’re gonna give you a ‘high grade’ ass kicking if you don’t quit struggling with us, yah hear me?”

    “Meow”.

  10. Leo Weaver Says:

wook down gets me every time…LLFA!!! Thanks Mr. C!

  11. neemor Says:

    A bowl of beer!

    It was my fault, chef.
I was borderline painting ‘deuchebag’ on the blackboard last night.

  12. SillyWilly Says:

Mike’s bass has to be heavy. How do you think he gets those biceps if he wasn’t lifting a heavy bass all day?

  13. Mr. Completely Says:

i still sometimes spontaneously laugh out loud when I randomly remember that the “w00k down” products actually do exist

still my dream to spot a wook pulling a puppy that’s wearing a wook down dog shirt

my life would be complete at that point

  14. neemor Says:

    This show is bonkers.
    Look who I’m telling….
    No shit, Sherlock.
Sherlock Holmes was a pretty good movie.
Movie going has been pretty good lately. I’ve seen some good stuff in the last few weeks.
Weeks ago, I’m not so sure I would’ve ranked 7.1.97 in the top ten.
Ten songs in this show, at least, deserve recognition.
    Recognition……

  15. Mr. Completely Says:

that and the Mila Kunis threeway, obv

  16. ChefBradford Says:

Either way, if/when the if/when comes around, first round is on me

  17. neemor Says:

“still my dream to spot a wook pulling a puppy that’s wearing a wook down dog shirt”

It’s good to have dreams, isn’t it?
    llfa

  18. ChefBradford Says:

    Mila Kunis is mine, brah

  19. neemor Says:

Obviously, the wook would also be wearing a ‘wook down’ tee?
While pulling the dog behind him.
    Miserably.

  20. Mr. Completely Says:

how do you feel about the 7.2 Stash > Llama > Wormtown jam, neemor?

  21. butter Says:

Leo – as far as the Mendocino Brewing Co. the “Red Tail” (which they claim is an Amber ale) and their Stout are the best. For me their beers did not stand the test of time tho.

i used to drink “Red Tail” quite often but am burnt out on it.
worth trying i guess, but hit the Russian river and Anderson Valley brews first.

  22. Mr. Completely Says:

    good luck with that chef

I waited all through the jailbait phase

    now it’s on

  23. SillyWilly Says:

    @chef and neemor

pretty cool that you guys are so willing to apologize.

i was a little worried earlier today that i reacted a little strongly to typeIII telling me i might be too young to remember the old penn st./nd rivalry when it struck me:

What would happen if the blackboard was taken from me??

sounds dramatic? maybe. but i love this place.

  24. Luther Justice Says:

Is that worth staging Mr. C or would it cheapen the product? Obv, it would be the ultimate to catch that naturally, but having that product might be what we need to get this economy moving.

  25. BTB Says:

    W00k Down dog leash.
