  1. Baxter Says:

Thank you so much for all the Phish.

  2. Willowed Says:

    Good morning boys.
    Make it a great day!!
    Thanks for the show Miner

  3. brendan Says:

    some questions.
    1. how do I add an avatar on this site?
    2. when I right click on the oorage text to save target as, why can I not download more than 86 Kb of the “ten tunes for firday” sometimes, but other times the whole song downloads?
    3. Who are these other otehrs that live in the temple and why have we not seen them before?

  4. brendan Says:

dont really answer #3 here as its not the place for it. More of an early morning brain clear. but 1 and 2 are killing me.

  5. Phish...Yup Says:

Not sure if there are any soccer fans on the blackboard, but let’s go Liverpool! Waking up to that Beacon Theatre show and Liverpool v Everton on the tube is a solid Saturday morning.

  6. joe Says:

good morning. so much fun being back at work 8 hours after I left. Jibboo video is awesome. We all look so much younger. band and fans. love the crowd shots. and fishman’s whiffle.

brendan – go to gravatar dot com. make sure the image is rated g and also clear out your cache. ( I’ve only had a sip of coffee this morning so that might not be very clear )

  7. joe Says:

the pants and backdrop on the stash video is like time travelling.

  8. brendan Says:

what does clear out your cache mean?

  9. EL Duderino Says:

    Mornin’ Folks…

Feelin’ a bit rough around the edges. My special lady friend and myself hit the Bass Ale and Patrone silver pretty hard last night. Didn’t sleep very well either. Ugh! Now it’s time for some coffee and the BB to get me goin’.

Weekend downloads: I have both of those sources, they are the best in circulation so you know Miner has done it right for you all. I was @ the 11/25/94 UIC show/hometown. Very underrated IMHO!

  10. marcoesq Says:

morning all, thanks for the DOTD’s miner!

brendan, once you’ve gone to gravatar.com and uploaded your image, cropped it and set it to “Rated G,” go to your internet browser menu and select “clear” or “empty” cache

sometimes it takes 15-20min to reset

  11. brendan Says:

    downloads working!!
    avatar….

  12. Mitch Says:

    Sup all?

How can we forget Phish’s real first visit to UIC, 6.18.94, Bowie awesomeness ensues.

Did I forget to mention go horse? I’ve been gone for a bit. Had a funeral back home again in Indiana. Got a manning superbowl jersey. Been wearing it since. I’m watching the game with a friend from n’orleans. Were gonna throw bombs all over y’all.

  13. brendan Says:

avatar working!!! thanks Marcoesq and Joe!

  14. Mitch Says:

So appreciative for the videos and jams of the day. The one day that I left my headphones at home, the girl next to me was listening loud enough to Avril Levine that we could both partake in the enjoyment of her whiney lame songs.

Luckily this Roseland Jibboo is cleansing my palate before I start my day.

  15. Mitch Says:

    …and i love those trey loops…

  16. joe Says:

so you can cross off Oxford, Maine as a possible tour stop this summer. They can’t handle phish according to this story.

  17. Marshall Says:

Thinking back to yesterday’s DOTD, it struck me that Fall ’94 was primarily played on or very near college campuses. I was a senior in college at the time. The fan base was so young back then.

  18. Mr. Palmer Says:

Wow! Thanks for kickin’ down the Beacon show Mr. Miner. This was probably my 4th or 5th show, but def. the one where i got “IT” with Phish.
After this show the obsession began. I haven’t heard a good source in forever, so thanks. El Dude’s blessing makes it even more exciting.

5 hour drive up to NYC from college in S. Pennsyltucky and back the same night. Trey was a bit gimpy this run from spraining his ankle 2 nights before so he spent some of the show playing on a stool if i remember correctly. The Horns were sick!

I hope the recordings stand up to my memory of that night.

    Thanks again!

  19. verno329 Says:

That second set of 11/25/94 is not to be missed! Absolutely fantastic. Still one of my favorite Mike’s Grooves. The segue from Weekapaug to Mango is phenomenal!

  20. joe Says:

Just checking out the streaming site mentioned here the last few days. Have 12/29/09 going right now. I must be getting soft in my old age and have fallen into the adult contemporary demographic. I actually dig the song the Connection now. When and How did that happen?

  21. Marshall Says:

^ Same reason I dig “Gone,” joe.

  22. Mr. Palmer Says:

BTW- It still holds up. The Suzy still gives me goosebumps!

  23. Mitch Says:

That second set of 11/25/94 is not to be missed! Absolutely fantastic. Still one of my favorite Mike’s Grooves. The segue from Weekapaug to Mango is phenomenal!

i ran across this show on my phanatic app last week and it looked awesome on paper. that and 11.13.94 and they both get put up within a couple weeks. money. glad it stands up on the listen.

    joe,
thats hilarious! i like gone too, like marshall. i’ve been asking the same question, but the connection isnt there yet for me. 😉 but yea, where’d that come from feeling from me too.

  24. marcoesq Says:

    lovin this roseland vid, miner!

miss me some trey loops too

  25. EL Duderino Says:

Mitch is right 6/18/94 was the first UIC show.

    Was there.

    Went to UIC.

    Best Divided Sky ever!

It was so good it brought Trey to tears during the silent part of the tune if I remember correctly!
