Jam of the Weekend:

Twist > Simple” 11.29.03 II

The only truly memorable jam from the band’s lackluster Turkey Run in ’03.

    @ garrettc

I’m a third generation speed skater. My grandfather competed as a kid as well as my father at a young age and then later as an adult. Myself, achieved 5th over all in the N. American outdoor/long track Championships in Lake Placid, NY. in ’82 (you have to be in the top 5 in over all points to be allowed to compete in respected age group) and 5th over all @ the ’84 indoor/short track National Championships @ the hockey rink in Lake Placid, NY.

I’m much older now and have not competed since ’87 but I love Winter Olympics and especially Speed Skating

  3. jdub Says:

That is pretty cool Dude, does that mean you almost made the almost Olympics?

  4. jdub Says:

Too many almosts, my mind is still drifting a bit

Could you make the Gin from 6.28.00 the Jam of the Day sometime soon? It is probably in my top 5 favorite gins. These weekend nugget shows are great!
