Oh Joe, don’t be THAT guy 8)

When it bites us in the ass, I will have to admit my naivete, but until then:
    1) Marcus Camby getting cash and hookers from an agent – not really the coach’s fault
    2) DRose cheating on a test in high school and getting cleared by ‘THE CLEARINGHOUSE’, not really the coach’s fault.

Maybe I’m just wishing it away…

But, it isn’t like Eddie Sutton mailing Shawn Kemp an envelope of cash, or Sean Sutton taking tests for Eric Manuel. I’ll own those mistakes!

Neemor, Willowed, and other CT TAB Show blackboarders:

I’m just checking in for the first time since Friday. I was hoping to hook up with some fellow PTers at the CT TAB show, but wifey and I got into town late and we missed the meet-up. I just wanted to recognize my lameness in a public setting in order to be chastised appropriately. Ended up spending the whole show up on the balcony with an old college friend that I ran into, which was really nice.

The sound seemed better up in the balcony, although I almost fell off the damn thing once. It can be difficult to dance with ones eyes closed while a knee-high railing is all that is blocking the fall to the orchestra seating. I was really impressed with just about everything at the CT show. Words to Wanda was a really nice surprise. For some reason I’ve always kind of dug that song and the way it was arranged was pretty damn cool. Show of Life is a great new ballad. It feels very Phishy and gave me chills. And there were great jams galore. Really a ton of fun!

Trey is playing really well and having fun. The band was tight and that theater in CT is great. It felt like one huge cozy living room. My only regret is getting into town too late to make the PT meet-up. The wife and I will surely be back to CT for the next Neemor tour, however, since we fell in love with that venue.

    Back to work. Peace.

@cub. I’m just bustin chops. Remember, I’m the guy with the autographed copy of “Refuse to Lose”(I now owe Cal $$ for using the phrase) prominently displayed on one of my bookshelves.

  4. gratefulcub Says:

    and a masshole taboot taboot

Speaking of busting chops, do you know the screen name of the NY local that I offended with my faux Reggie Miller mancrush at the MSG meetup? I probably went a bit far that night thinking we were just having fun, but I forgot how intense Knick fans can be.

  9. joe Says:

so, What did you do Joe on your day off with the house to yourself?

answer: Post on phish board about Kentucky basketball while watching cross country skiing on tv.

I can’t wait for summer but until then I need a new hobby 🙂

    @ neemor

“Dude, you blow my mind, man.
I’d like to cross your path someday…”

    You talkin’ to me neemor???

  11. neemor Says:

    Yup.

  12. neemor Says:

Little Buddy, I heard rumors you were coming…next time, man. Glad you made the show.

So I had almost made plans to get a pizza from one of the well-known pizza places in New Haven and have it for the guys coming in to try and get acquainted with.
    It’s good pie.
I didn’t stop and pick one up.
But Willowed’s buddy comes to the bar with three pizzas from Pepe’s or Sally’s or something (one of the legendary pizza houses.)
This guy has the ability, in one move, to rise thirteen levels in “guy-dom” and hook us up with the goods, even just one pie.
    Does he do it?
    No he does not.

    fail.
