at least the $5 went to a donation to mr. miner. Happy Birthday

  2. Gratefulcub Says:

Someone recently said, “I know it’s blasphemy, but I don’t understand the love of Dayton 97”

I hadn’t listened to it in forever. I thought: probably correct, we just got wrapped up in the psycho killer.

    Wrong. Completely WRONG!!

Tube>>Lets Jam That Some More>>Slave is what IT is all about.
As the LJTSM fades into Slave, everyone has to realize that magic monent had just occurred. Everyone shared in a moment in time that has never happened before, and will never happen again.

Set 1 is one of my favorite sets ever, even without a single long t3 excursion.

  3. EL Duderino Says:

    @ Mr. Miner

    Happy Birthday Brah!

  4. joe Says:

funny, you posted that cub – I was just deciding what set to listen to while I go do my rounds and was going with Dayton Set 1 as I read your post.

    how bout those cats?

  5. JMelby Says:

Happy birthday Mr. Miner and thanks again for all you do for this wonderful community!! Hope your day is filled with special moments and surrounded by loved ones. It’s my 43rd tomorrow and I hope a good day to put in my ticket order.

  6. ChefBradford Says:

Snow in central louisiana again today. Brrrah

  7. ChefBradford Says:

    Happy birthday Mr Miner!

  8. fat bastard Says:

remember the show 30 something? now were all 30 something. deep thoughts

  9. Gratefulcub Says:

    How ’bout ’em?!?!

It’s ours to lose, which is almost the most uncomfortable place to be. If they play with this intensity on D, they are hard to score against. IF they also make jump shots; ungaurdable.

Anything can happen, and I’m not getting cocky. I am anxious. One lackluster effort, and a good night by a northern Iowa, and it can be all over.

  10. Gratefulcub Says:

I was very bummed when, at 35, I realized my life isn’t nearly as dramatic as “30 Something” 😉

  11. hoedown Says:

Happy birthday and thank-you Mr. Miner on this beautiful Sunday!

  12. Luther Justice Says:

    Happy B-Day Mr. Miner!

  13. joe Says:

the mp3 player called for a switch so it’s 7/31/2009 set 2. so far, so good.

  14. Robear Says:

great choice by the mp3 player, @ Joe.

  15. joe Says:

towards the tail end of crosseyed and painless I realized that I skipped the first floor of my rounds completely. coincidence? ok, got to go back and get that now during tweezer.

  16. Chuck D Says:

    Happy Birf Day.

  17. Robear Says:

llfa @ Joe. You’re in the phish time zone.

  18. fat bastard Says:

my favorite player in the NCAA tournament has to be the viking

  19. Weekapaug Says:

Have a great day Mr. Miner. I hope you’re doing what you enjoy most

  20. Robear Says:

It’s a long way off, but I’m realizing my life is getting in the way of doing the entire summer tour.

  21. whole tour! Says:

^ i feel ya on that robear. My heart says do as many shows as i can, but my wallet says “i can only allow you to do X number of shows”

  22. joe Says:

I must be getting soft in my old age. I like the corny songs like joy and backwards down the number line way more than I would have 15 years ago.

  23. whole tour! Says:

#line is a great song. Like the offspring between “ramblin’ man” and “franklin’s tower” put into a blender and served up with a side of ahi tuna.

The Miami #line was pretty sick. pedal to the metal.

  24. Henry Says:

    Happy birthday fearless leader

  25. KWL Says:

    hey Miner,

just kicked down a little donation to the site.

hope you’re getting enough to cover the latest costs. for those who missed it, Miner just got hit with $500 to cover the cost of all the streaming generated by TTFF.

    and happy birthday.
