@silly…you can also find lots of good compilations of reggae and dub. Selector J posted links to a couple of free ones on Amazon a few weeks back. Dig thru the racks next time you’re at the record store and see what you can find.

  2. Robear Says:

AW has some new stuff on his mediafire page.

Grabbing ‘Ike and Tina’ right now.

  3. KWL Says:

nerve-wracking watching the cuse, gotta love march.

  4. Leo Weaver Says:

“Bar is lined with drunken old men.
    Lots of rednecks.
    A few college age kids.

Had a lot of adventures surrounding the gigs.”

that’s funny @lycan, I know those jukejoints but in S. Ga where they’re known as “Jooks” (pronounced like cooks). I can picture your band and music in one of them now…I bet it was an interesting experience. Damn hippie music! But a few of them really got down.

@WT…I’ll try to cover all the bases

  5. Lycanthropist Says:

yeh some of the people actually dug it.

the first night was a little more tough… we had several drunk old men asking us to play merle haggard, lynyrd skynyrd, and some of that ol’ slowhand.

they were absolutely flabbergasted when we told em we wouldnt play any of that.

  6. SillyWilly Says:

thats a good point i always forget the old used record stores. You can walk in with a 10 dollar bill and leave with enough stuff to keep your ears occupied for weeks.

  7. Lycanthropist Says:

yeah the OTM > Med daughter worked pretty well.

  8. (Formally Known As) BrandonKayda Says:

That was a great show purple. I bought a Kuroda Lights shirt that day in the lot, not even knowing it was his birthday, so I was pretty stoked when that happened. That, and Saw It Again, which literally pulled me from the lawn to within 5 feet of Pages face with no trouble from anyone. I was like a zombie and nothing would stop me. Good Times.

this 11/25 tweez, i know goes unloved, but i dug it live and i dig it on tape. relentlessly plods along (mike led) with trey applying the staccato rock riff. deep groovy and danceable. fizzle ends in slomo.
