I was already spinning that thought in my head … trying to figure out whether it would be worth the 4-5 hour drive. Depends on where it will run near me, I guess.

BB Perm, not sure if this helps but here are the etree pages for those new FOBs. Plenty of seeders…maybe just exit utorrent and try again?

    12/31 midnight set – http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=533560

  3. BabyBigPerm Says:

VoidBoy where did you get that info?

  4. marcoesq Says:

That intro totally ads to the grandeur and allure of the song

This new “choppy, sloppy Trey just hacking away” intro doesn’t cut it for me

When I used to hear those loops screaming out from those Ghosts it used to give me goosebumps and put me in the right frame of mind. MIke and Fish would arise ever so quietly from the ashes and build it until they climaxed into chorus

Now I’m like, “Sweet, Ghost…cant wait until the intro is over so they can get to the jam”

I’m sorry but I just watched that again and holy shit

that. was. awesome! instant shivers down the spine when Shine a Light came through.

I like that they didn’t ruin the surprise of the Burble or other visual things. I can only imagine what it will look like in 3D!

  7. Leo Weaver Says:

Good morning BBers! Busy busy day, so won’t keep up…you cats keep it cool in here.

@Lycan…happy birthday! Good to hear about CF heading up this way…looking forward to hearing it live!

  8. BabyBigPerm Says:

thanks Kenny. just installed uTorrent and the “network” feature seemed a bit hinky. Didn’t seem to find a network it liked. maybe that is related.

  9. Marshall Says:

    Can’t … stop …. watching

Can’t wait to see the mind-melded glowsticks (which you see briefly during Suzy in the trailer) and CK5’s lights.

Looks like it will be a decent collection of stuff from all 8 sets.

  10. Marshall Says:

Leo – did you see the trailer?

  11. Little Buddy Says:

For those of you still trying to get your ladies or friends to get IT. The 3D movie might be a nice introduction. It looks fantastic!

  12. Mr. Palmer Says:

friendly reminder- 1 more day to get PTBM requests in..

  13. Marshall Says:

That trailer made me spin Maze from F8.

  14. beepaphone Says:

Funny shit, cub. I hear you on the suspense, but this has been, with apologies to all suckers who picked Kansas, the most badass first two rounds I’ve ever witnessed.

    Tonight? Butler shocks Syracuse.

  15. kenny powers Says:

    @ T3 – good point on Burble

Marco – i feel 100% the same way about Ghost. Blues-y, rough guitar is not becoming of the Ghost. Now Stealing Time…

  16. marcoesq Says:

Question: Do you think the movie theaters will allow dose vendors to operate on their premises?

Seems like a good marketing plan to me

  17. marcoesq Says:

    @beep

I’ve been looking for you, congrats on your big win! I had A&M winning but after my Terps lost (I know I’m out of order chronilogically) I was glad to see your Boilermakers win it in big fashion

  18. cal Says:

    Happy Birthday Lycan!

    Good morning, everybody else!

I’m going to click “play” on CF 10.24.09 today. Break a leg tonight!

  19. Marshall Says:

But what are you gonna do for the other five hours?

  20. BTB Says:

If I wear 3D glass at work, is that a give-away that I’m not working?

  21. beepaphone Says:

Thanks, marco. Sorry about your Terps. FWIW I loathe Michigan State.

  22. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

the word on the street is that Indio is still on the table as a possibility this fall

^from an email from a friend I went to *8* with after I forwarded him the 3d movie trailer. this “word on the street” comes from his close friend who works for ticketing, fwiw. (I met the guy at *8* and he was pretty tight lipped about non-confirmed stuff for last fall and what not, so I believe his info is fairly valid). we can only hope he is right…

  23. Marshall Says:

@ marco – saw your late reply yesterday. Don’t feel bad about owning a HTiB. It does sound like the sub might be blown – can you take the grill off and watch the cone while it plays?

  24. Marshall Says:

    Festival 10.10.10

  25. marcoesq Says:

^Sure can Marshall, I had dinner w my girl and friends last night and didn’t get in until late but I’ll do that tonight and get back to you
