palms: 11-11-73 dark star. yep, i dig it. I have it on a mix of late 73 goodness. 12-6-73 stella, 9-12-73 bird song, 11-11-73 china doll and DS, 10-29-73 loser and brokedown palace.

  2. kayatosh Says:

a mix on CD , that is.

  3. Corey Says:

–Due to system maintenance, transactions processed after 9 PM Friday, CST may not display until after 9 PM Sunday, CST.–

Now even my own bank is working against me.
PHiSH fans can’t sit still for three says waiting for a cc hold.
    C’mon usaa, a little help here. 🙂

Oh, while I’m on, who here (besides my wife and I) are going to the REVERE 4/20 PHiSH3D movie?

Someone mentioned a meetup pre-screening right?
Just trying to stay on top of the plans…

sorry about kentuck. i really thought they were the best in the tourney – wall, cousins, patterson all look like NBA’ers. UK lost to a lesser team. their coach failed them. their D was weak. their attitude was weak; they looked scared and lost playing w/o the lead. they failed to assert their physical dominance.

watch duke wisely use its size advantage against WVU, that is, if duke can get past baylor today. i know zip about baylor, but i’ve heard they’re physical. beat baylor and this could be duke’s yr. tourney could not have unfolded better for them. cuse kanasas and kentuck all gone. thank you very much.

  5. gus Says:

speaking of wook down…where can i find/download that picture? i’ve seen it before, i just want to have it on my computer.

  6. voopa Says:

For future refernce, it’s on butter’s flickr, which is linked from his name.

  7. Corey Says:

I hate to say it, with all the repeated Christian Laetner (sp?) highlights…
But the one team that ALWAYS plays at its hightest level EVERY March is Duke. Coach K knows how to win in pressure sits. and when all eyes are on them.

I really hope those Frosh stay in Lex. and give it another go next year. They certainly would be the team to beat if they did.

@kayatosh, this was certainly the year for upsets. I can’t remember a tourney that had so many. But, UK…they beat themselves with poor shooting and general lackluster play throughout the tourney…it’s just that they didn’t have competition until WVU stepped in. But, 35-3 in the SEC is nothing to be sad about. Here’s hoping for an undefeated season next yaer. I wish the kids today would take stock in their impact at the college level and not be in such a hurry to go to the bigs. If they stayed for a full 4 years, who knows, maybe 3 championships…that’s be cool with me. 🙂

  8. gus Says:

    YES. best picture ever.

  9. Corey Says:

    best -disturbing- picture ever.

It is not the image I wanted to take with me from Indio.
I’ll stick with sunny sunday images and a “never gone out of character” robot for my photo reference.

Does anyone on this site actually know that guy?

  10. voopa Says:

    I can’t find the w00k down w00k on faceb00k 🙁

  11. joe Says:

re: Kentucky. It looked to me like they packed it in around the 10 minute mark. Kids said screw it, we don’t even have to go back to school. just hang out, prepare for the nba while being legally paid by the agents, etc. Call me cynical.

  12. whole tour! Says:

@ voopa… i can only give a slight hint due to contract negotiations between my people and wook down’s people over royalties concerning his spinoff TV show “Wook mam I’m on TV!”

search the phish3d posts and ye shall find the wook you seek….

  13. Mr.Palmer Says:

Sorry Corey- have to disagree about Duke. for a team loaded top to bottom with McDonald AA’s they’ve performed pretty crappy in the tournament lately. This is the first year since 2004 they got past the sweet 16. If you want to look at a coach and team that bring it every single March look no further tha Tom Izzo and Mich. St.

But, this could be Duke’s year. I picked WVU to win it all and i’m sticking with them.

  14. whole tour! Says:

sorry that should have read: “Wook mom! i’m on tv!”

    baned again!

  15. kayatosh Says:

corey: UK’s inexperience and lack of hunger showed. the current duke crew has suffered some bitter defeats, and they’re hungry. duke hasn’t been to regional final in tourney since 2004. 5 yr. drought.

  16. SplitOpenAndSparkle Says:

    i saw him…he’s on there….
    wookin it up fo sho!

  17. whole tour! Says:

time to head out to see scholars word!
    JAHHHH RASTAfarianism!

  18. ThePigSong Says:

Did bitter actually snap that shot?

  19. voopa Says:

Butter commented once that he found it somewhere, wasn’t sure where…Mr C said the same thing. How very mysterious…

  20. joe Says:

mentioned yesterday that I’ve been listening to a new ipod loaded with some of my old cds. Today’s version of “I used to love that Song and played it constantly but haven’t listened to it in about a decade” is the One from the Vault version of Eyes of the World.

  21. ThePigSong Says:

    How ’bout this game!

  22. kayatosh Says:

    that’s a nice one, joe.

  23. SplitOpenAndSparkle Says:

    the pic is hilarious….
reminds me of how key moderation is to enjoying ones self at a fest/phish show.

    i can just imagine
WookBuddy……”you ate the whole bag, that was for all 3 of us!!!!”
    WookDown…….”sorry dude, i didnt know.”
WB…..”Fuck Man, the show’s about to start too!”
    WD…..”uh oh, i think i ate too many mush–…….”

and the rest is history, along with his critical thinking skills.

  24. kayatosh Says:

yep, great game.. got the sound off and the 6-24-73 eyes cranked. nothin better than a 73 eyes. jer, lesh, and billy k could have been a fierce modern jazz trio.

these sentiments brought to you by the letter G, as in every rasta’s favorite treat.

  25. SplitOpenAndSparkle Says:

this game is a barn burner….
i like tenn to hold on thru 2nd half…
    although what do i know…
my bracket has long since been burnt to ashes.
