it’s really worth it, the sound is superb down there, you can actually FEEL mike

  6. William H. Bonney Says:

  7. William H. Bonney Says:

I really like the Born under punches from that Rome show….crazy intro and build thru-out

  8. Mr. Completely Says:

@gavinsdad is schooling everyone in the ticket jedi ways

    very cool insight

  9. gavinsdad Says:

  10. Selector J Says:

mr. c i was reading back on today and your LHC bet hadron collided my brain. how were you going to win that?

  11. William H. Bonney Says:

    cheers GD….

  12. SplitOpenAndSparkle Says:

yeah….my own space is king at a phish show…..
nye in miami a chick leaned in a kissed me on the cheek saying how gratefull she was for me sharing my seat……i looked at her confused and said “i didnt know i was sharing my seat.” she just laughed and kept dancin…..oh well, someetimes you dont even notice when the row shrinks….
but if you do notice and ur against it…..words of advice….
find a marker(point of reference, usually right in front of my seat on my ticket), and just stay in that area, hold your ground, then noone can do anything about taking your space……hold that ground and boogie down.

  13. Mr. Completely Says:

Mr. Bonney, unfortunately the DVDs that circulate are in PAL format, the Euro video style. They play fine on computers and some DVD players but not average US players. Apparently converting PAL to NTSC (american format) is a huge pain in the ass due to resyncing the audio…

I have the PAL DVD. I am in the midst of another DVD copy project, but I can do some copies of that next – however I got mine on The Traders Den which is the easiest place to find lots of great music DVDs.

It is fucking fantastic of course!

  14. Prince Nabby Says:

I am by nature an embarrassingly honest person, and I tended to get flustered when I have do perform Jedi Mind Tricks even for Good Purposes. However, I think that my g/f and I are going to be stubbing down like mofos all summer if we can find willing partners. Multiple beers and, uhh, bane.ality by way of gratitude 🙂

  15. Mitch Says:

    Gdad,
I got your lawn for pav trade for Camden. 🙂

ok bedtime. See you fools in the AM

  16. William H. Bonney Says:

I make the best of it not going to waster much energy, if the people are cool about, no big deal, just don’t come trying to push the Kid around or…I’ll dance your ass right off………:)

  17. Mr. Completely Says:

“mr. c i was reading back on today and your LHC bet hadron collided my brain. how were you going to win that?”

The experiment that was supposed to destroy the world is the one they’ve been running for the last few days. My bet would have been: if they run the proton collider at full experimental energy and the earth is NOT swallowed up by “strangelets” or black holes, I win. If the earth is destroyed, you win.

there’s nothing complicated about it. higher energy collisions than the LHC take place constantly every day in the high atmosphere. just not that big a deal.

  18. William H. Bonney Says:

I figured it could be found might have to break down and add that one to Collection along with new Dead release…..Second bass player really blows what her name away during that born under punches…..kind of feel bad for her when I watch…guy is amazing…guitar player from King Crimson….such an amazin group of musicians just killing it…

  19. ohhphee Says:

    Evening, BB!

    @gdad and @nabby

My first show was at Champaigne,IL Assembly Hall ’95 – my seat: right behind Trey and Mike…directly over the tunnel to backstage. Loved that view! Fast forward 15 years – several shows later – Cincy ’10 night 2 – boomers…where at? same exact location as 15 years before, different venue, also 1st time at the Crown. Sooooo sweeeeet. I’m with ya.

    Btw,

just got all 5 shows I asked for! Chicago Sec 107 Row 7! DCx2 lawned, AVx2 lawned. Happy to have tickets. Will see if I can manage to somehow turn those lawns into my first ever AV pavs. Here’s hoping! Good luck to all those still waiting!

  20. William H. Bonney Says:

All that nonsense about a black hole forming and destroying earth was comical at best…just another example of man giving himself alittle too much credit..simmer down chicken little

  21. ohhphee Says:

I meant to say – Sooooooo Happy to Have Tickets.

  22. SplitOpenAndSparkle Says:

yeah, we’re all there for the same reason….so as long as its not detracting from anyone else’s experience then who cares…..it’s only when people are rude about it and expect you to give up your space cuz it’s “just what happensa at phish shows, man” is lame…..keep in mind that everybody is tring to enjoy the show. dont take that away from anybody cuz you want to sit closer and didnt get non-lawn seat.

  23. AintNoTele Says:

I find that if someone is in your space all you have to do is make any kind of physical contact with them and they move. I always stand shoulder to shoulder with someone with them and it’s over. unless its the midget n2o wook, then you move…and quickly

  24. William H. Bonney Says:

another late night confirm!! cool maybe email is still coming….

  25. Selector J Says:

oh okay. I was just confused on the parameters of the bet. I came away thinking if the world exploded they wouldn’t have to pay you because the world exploded but it would follow that you would have to pay them if it didn’t… which would obviously be a terrible bet.
That bet makes much more sense.
