This fusing of “Split’s” menacing nature and the emerging, slowed-down textures of Summer ’97 put a spectacular cap on Phish’s first set ever played at The Gorge.

I saw my first show in 1994 and didn’t get my first Tweezer until Hampton 3/6/09. It can happen when you typically see one-off shows, or doubles at best (which was my life before 2009).

I like that mikes song photo above with all red lights. I just got to the part in the Phish bio last night where ck5 is talking about setting moods with lights. I instantly thought of red/yellow combo like above and blue/purple/green rebas. Im looking forward to the day we get an all red mike’s again.

@Not Tom – Holy mole! That is a long wait. That was a very good Tweezer though. Easily one of my personal highlights from Hampton last year.
