thats so sweet!!!! i know how much you’ve been dying to go, i sure hope you get a crosseyed!

  2. KWL Says:

it’s all good butter… some peter rowan came on in my itunes after perpetual groove & i think i’m sticking there for a while

@bk, my advice would be to wait a little longer than a week for pavs… you never know what you might find, and lawns will always be there, even day of show.

I know you don’t want to show up ticketless with your dad, and saturdays are always tougher tix than sundays, so don’t wait that long, but the lawns will be available at face or better…

we’re still over 2 months out after all… a lot can happen b/t now & then

now that the initial ticket rush is over, a lot of the uncertainty is gone. east coast lawns will be plentiful.

  3. butter Says:

blown away by the LxL from Darien 97

  4. KWL Says:

@gdad, well that’s pretty nice then, i think i will be able to swing JB b/c a friend is getting married in philly the weekend after.

if i gotta travel back east for a wedding, might as well come a couple days early & hit JB

  5. KWL Says:

might have to dust that one off butter. mind blown last night by 12-3-99 limb

  6. (Formally Known As) BrandonKayda Says:

Hah! Thanks Gus, I’m secretly hoping for it as well. But my theory is if I mention it too much then Phish will play it Camden night 2, so let’s just keep that on the DL 🙂 Hahaha

And you’re probably right KWL, I’ll wait it out a bit before I make any decisions. I just want the stress of tickets to be done with and the waiting to begin, ya know?

But yeah as you said, lawns will be plentiful for sure, so I guess I can hold out for a bit until I make my choice. You never know what may happen….

Thanks for all the support from you all btw, it is definitely going to help make my first show a “legendary” experience

  7. ChefBradford Says:

I made my way through portions of the Went today at work, and that Limb was pretty tasty. Nothing really outlandish, just…ahhh

  8. gavinsdad Says:

JB in Aug would be nice KWL….if you need a place to rest your head during that wedding timeframe we’re across the river from Philly…10 mins from downtown…just get in touch.

  9. KWL Says:

@bk just keep your pulse on things like craigslist and stubhub to see where prices are at… but my bet is lawns will be there for face, maybe less

regardless, you’re going to have a blast. the mpp lawn does suck, but hey, i got down there pretty hard last year and that 46 days>sweet nuthin was one of the moments of my 2009 in 14 shows.

pretty sick that your first shows can be a 2 night run.

thanks @gdad… should be covered then but appreciate the offer. maybe i’ll make a last minute jaunt down to camden & camp on your lawn 😯

going to be looking for someplace cheap to stay for JB tho…

  10. gavinsdad Says:

and may i introduce the PNC 99 LXL?

  11. yematt Says:

stressful night at work. swept away>steep from 12.31.09 is definitely relaxes the mind.
now looking for a nice SOAM to release what stress is left me

  12. Lycanthropist Says:

    yematt

if you didnt check out the TTTF SOAM yesterday give it a spin
it should def get you where you need to go

  13. Robear Says:

    I would listen to Butter.

  14. yematt Says:

@lycan- purrfect. I will que that up after this seven below. good call!

i need to proofread my posts. poor grammer in my previous entry

  15. (Formally Known As) BrandonKayda Says:

I’ve found lawns for $40 on some sites, so I’ll be fine if that’s what it comes to

  16. gavinsdad Says:

robear/mitch/chef – thx for hollering at this shoreline ’03 show…holy crap…this Gin is so up my alley.

    nite yallz

  17. yematt Says:

so part of the stress that boiled up from tonight was an incident at work where a co-worker called me a “fucking phish head” where I slipped up one tiny thing. this is a guy who likes to bust my chops whenever he gets a chance so I really shouldn’t think much of it, but this is the first time where he pressed a sensitive button. he could tell it offended me and just kept egging me on all night about it. some people suck! it’s not the work I hate, I actually enjoy the work most of the time, but the people just make it so uncomfortable.

  18. Henry Says:

@BK we need to meet up before one of the shows or at setbreak

  19. (Formally Known As) BrandonKayda Says:

    Goodnight all!!!

Thanks again for the kind words RE: Merriweather tonight, I will surely have a great time.

Kung Fu/The Breakfast was great tonight, and I can’t wait to see them again. Thanks for linking that to me, Neemor.

    Peace!

  20. (Formally Known As) BrandonKayda Says:

@Henry – For sure, as the shows get closer, we should exchange cell phone #’s or something so we can meet up.

    You hitting both nights?

  21. Henry Says:

Yep. I’m on the lawn night 1 and left lodge night 2

  22. Mr.Miner Says:

make sure to spin this “Bowie” Jam of the Weekend. Serious, serious Phish in there

  23. Exree Hipp Says:

I’m sure this has been covered before Miner, but why is there no Miner’s Picks for Fall ’97? Seems like a no-brainer to me, but maybe that’s why you haven’t gone through it, because it’s been done to death?

  24. Willowed Says:

    Good morning boys.

    Hope you enjoy the Sunday!!

  25. Mr.Palmer Says:

Top ‘o da morning to you all! Hope its a good one wherever you are.
