    oh no doubt
    Bacon Sandwich is one of my favorite songs..

    one of those few songs that can’t be over played in my book

  2. Lycanthropist Says:

    BTW I second all the 7-09-03 love that has been floating around here

    that monster Gin is awesome

  3. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    this particular bacon sandwich was

    bagel (plain, but only because that’s all we had in the house)
    philly cream cheese (no other kind compares)
    cholula hot sauce
    copious amounts of bacon
    sprinkling of shredded cheddar

    aaaahhhhhh…

  4. Lycanthropist Says:

    yeh that sounds pretty amazing

    mine is gonna have some egg on it

  5. Kenny Powers Says:

    Type 3

    your Sunday morning plan makes me really sad that my wife doesn’t partake in the bane and does not quite enjoy me when i’m baned (unless she’s drunk, in which case she doesn’t really care).

    i would love to follow your prescription verbatim right now! Oh well, I’ll have to try it out on my next weekday off when she’s at work…

  6. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    yeah, we were out of eggs so I had to improvise. that cream cheese jam was totally unexpected. wasn’t sure where it was going when it started but totally blew me away. took the thing from a standard type I bacon sandwich to something I’ve neve experienced before. dare I say, it ventured into type III territory after going fully type II for a while? 😉

  7. gus Says:

    @type 3 – they didn’t actually play together the whole time. jerry played solo first, then leo, and then they played together at the end. i recorded some of the show on my shitty iphone microphone, if you want to hear that… it’s actually not TOO bad, i got 30 minutes of just jerry and 18 minutes of jerry and leo together.

  8. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    this is too funny. I was reading a little article on cnn.com about Coachella and got sucked into the comment section there. I sometimes forget just how civil and “real” this community is until I venture elsewhere on the intrawebs and find what is unfortunately more commonplace

    article

  9. Lycanthropist Says:

    you should see some of the evil that comes out on LOST blogs

    its pretty hilarious really

  10. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    @gus
    that probably makes more sense than a full show of them together. hey, if you upload it, I’ll definitely take a listen. maybe KP can remaster it for you 😀

    @lycan
    I can imagine. “NO! MY theory is right! You suck!” I tend to avoid the comment sections of most pages for that simple reason. just didn’t heed my own advice this morning…

  11. gus Says:

    ok, here’s jerry and leo together:

    and here’s jerry solo:

  12. gus Says:

    oh, wait…it seems that jerry is having a bit of trouble, i’ll re-up that

  13. gus Says:

    weird, as soon as i posted that last comment, it started working again. ok, nevermind.

  14. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but damn! that Uber Foam is just peachy to me. particularly the last 10-15 minutes where they build a few minor peaks before Marco simply nails the Foam progression into the “great entertainer” finish.

    @gus
    sounds pretty decent on my little laptop speakers, though maybe slightly quiet. thanks!

  15. Leo Weaver Says:

    Brunch sammie here: everything bagel, herb cream cheese, sausage patty, slice of provolone, and egg. The wifey subbed mayo and mustard for the cream cheese. And a side of strawberries. With coffee and OJ…baning for dessert before heading out to the yarden.

    @gus…me and Mrs. Weaver saw Leo a few years ago in an old church>theater (800 capacity I think). It was just him, a stool, a few guitars, and a half-full theater. Very intimate and an amazing show. He’s quite a storyteller with a quick wit. I’ll try to make it to all his local shows.

  16. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    gus,

    that Rings on there sounds great! adding the dobro to that song is a very nice accompaniment to Leo’s picking

  17. gus Says:

    rings was definitely the highlight of the show for me.

  18. gus Says:

    OH, and i forgot about living in the country, which was also so great, but i didn’t get to record it.

  19. Mr.Miner Says:

    You guys are a riot. Love me a bacon, egg, and cheese!!!

  20. halcyon Says:

    El Dude and Type III

    I was looking at the Droid Incredible (something silly like that), and my wife’s upgrade eligibility is in a week, right around the time that phone is released. My upgrade is eligible in a couple of months, and the phone I am on is 8 years old with a battery that holds a charge as long as 25 minutes.

  21. verno329 Says:

    Afternoon all!

    I went with breakfast burgers on the George Foreman since I slept in for a change. Can’t say I’ve ever done that before…but I will be doing it again. Even had the Bacon Cheddar cheese.

    Now spinning the Phil & Friends 4/17/99. Can’t go wrong there

  22. Mr.Miner Says:

    @ butter – summer 97 limbs killed. Great went limb was a life changing experience for me. Period.

  23. Mr.Miner Says:

    @verno- that first set is my favorite for a beautiful day. Simply can’t beat Dark star > it’s up to you….best part of the rum. And that was arguably the best run ever!

  24. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    @halcy
    looks like that is a pretty sweet new model. appears to combine the best of some of the previous ones like the big 3.7in screen and whatnot. I’d buy it!

  25. voopa Says:

    I hadn’t heard Limb yet when they dropped it in the magical 1st Set, 4th Song position on 7/31/97. Blew me the fuck away.
