    Where are Ben & Miles?

last we saw them they were running off with Richard to get more explosives from Otherstown, iirc. I’m sure they will come into play here soon…

  2. Billy88 Says:

A great episode, tragic seeing almost half of the 815 passengers left dead. I liked the recovering Locke’s dream, about arguing to Jack about pressing the Dharma computer reset button. There are still a few people out there in question. Ben/Miles/Richard going for ammo. Who knows if Widmore has anyone left?

  3. Billy88 Says:

When locke is being wheeled out in ALT universe, you see Jin visiting Sun at the Hospital. Probably still pregnant with a healthy child. It’s the original time line that their baby is the orphan.

  4. Paul Says:

Something interesting i noticed. Remember how Jack says, “it’s time to let go”? Anyone think that wasn’t just meant for locke, but also for the viewers of the show?

  5. Snigglebeach Says:

    Just 2 quick things.

I guess we are to assume Widmore put the C4 in the plane. For what purpose. Did he really believe Flocke wanted to board the plane with the losties.

i never thought that for a second. or that he wanted on the sub. It was pretty obv. he had set them up.

And really?? a 400 pound guy had trouble escaping a sinking sub, while dragging an unconscience person. Hurley must have super powers we are not aware of. Or he is just incredably boyant.

  6. Snigglebeach Says:

    ^ had NO trouble…

  7. Mr. Blood Says:

In the Lost world death hardly seems to mean the end of someone. The final episode should be REALLY interesting.

  8. Hojo Says:

What about Lockes dad in the sideways reality. Apparently they were close. Does that mean that Lockes dad wasn’t a con man in that reality?

If Locke’s dad (I forget his name) was still responsible for Sawyers parents death, but later became a “decent” person… is that somehow connected with the sinking of the island?

I’m definitely feeling like I had more questions after that episode than before it.

  9. sanchothehutt Says:

Sweet! we’re getting another half hour!

@Sniggle-400 lbs of fat WOULD make him a giant life preserver 😉 Besides, if you can’t suspend disbelief for THAT, how are you still watching this show 5 years in??? LOL Dude talks to the dead!

  10. sanchothehutt Says:

Did anyone else get goosebumps when MIB tries to get Jack on the sub one last time, asks him why he won’t, and Jack says, “Because John Locke told me not to.” Wow, that was great.

  11. Bern DAWG Says:

Anyone notice how John Locke likes to blow up subs??

By the way, this is the highlight of my wednesdays…long time reader…first time poster. Awesome job ladies and gents.

  12. Hojo Says:

So how did the mib know that Jack would end up on the sub? He put the bomb in JACK’s backpack, so he must have known that he would end up on the sub, right?

  13. Wilson8or Says:

@hojo. They were ALL going on the sub, according to MIB’s plan. He just got pushed in the water, which made it easier on him!

  14. Snigglebeach Says:

That right there is the million dollar question. Some have speculated that MIB and Widmore might really be in cahoots.

Kate getting shot was no accident. or random ambush. She was targeted, to ensure jack would get on that sub.

That is pretty diabolical, but it must have been part of a bigger plan, cause there was little chance of jack going in otherwise. Gonna have to re-watch that scene, who but Widmore’s goons could have shot her. FLocke or Claire?? no I guess we have lost track of a lot of the other followers. Where is the stewardess chick and the kids????

  15. Lycanthropist Says:

Yeh I am pretty sure Flocke and Widmore have been in cohoots..

my guess is that is why Charles is allowed back on the island
he made a deal with Flocke.

There was truly NO other way that he was gonna get Jack on that sub.

What a sign of self confidence from the Man in Black to put the bomb in JACK’s pack. Although I guess blowing up the sub would be for naught if EVERYONE didnt get on that boat.

I shed a tear for the Kwons.

  16. Mr.Miner Says:

Interesting with Flocke and Widmore working together to kill all the Losties. So those Widmore guys that Flocke killed were essentially sacrifices made by Widmore to keep his cover?

Didn’t cross my mind that shooting Kate was intentional – makes perfect sense

The Sun and Jin scene was perhaps the most emotional is the shows history? Maybe not by the next three weeks….

  17. Mr.Miner Says:

Somehow, Alpert, Miles, and Ben are going to have a significanty role in what happens. They are still the “Jacob camp”

It seems like Jack is no longer aligned with Jacob or MiB, but simply his own dog.

My real question is, WHAT IS THE SIDEWAYS REALITY? We have 3 episodes to go, and they haven’t made heads or tails of what that is. Or have they?

  18. Lycanthropist Says:

my guess is that they have given us the whole thing minus one or two pieces.

Once we get those pieces so many things will fall into context.

For instance.. rethink this whole season with the idea that MiB has been trying his damnest to get them to trust him about leaving, but be scared enough to go with out him.

  19. Lycanthropist Says:

widmore working with Locke explains why he chose scientists instead of mercs for his “army”.

If he was serious about fighting the smoke monster he would have brought mercs.

  20. sanchothehutt Says:

So with the revelation that they’ll be showing the pilot episode in its entirety, does anybody else think that there will be a bunch of “oh,shit” moments in as far as stuff we may have overlooked?

And when is Juliet going to show up? Might they be saving her for the finale?

I’m still convinced, like (I believe) Lycan said, she will end up being Sun’s OB, but I thought we would have seen her last night.

  21. Tsac77 Says:

For my money, the Penny/Desmond reunion is the most emotional moment in Lost history.

  22. Mr.Miner Says:

    ^ great call.

  23. GatsbyGatsbyGreatDog Says:

I love this site and I love this F’n show! I have found a few new enlightening trains of thought on here over the past few weeks and thought I’d throw one out that I hadn’t heard on here yet. Rose and hubby that were living on the island in the seventies in seclusion, in ‘retirement’,… are they going to be the skeletons from the cave at the beginning? “adam and eve” as they were named then I believe. This could be one of the big ‘aha!’ moments planned by showing the two part pilot before the finale?? Just a thought, willing to think its correct for now…

  24. sanchothehutt Says:

^Amen, it’s the only thing that rivals the Penny/Des story, which up until this point has been the best love story (sick of Kate and Jack/Sawyer)

I was waiting for Sun to tell Jin he needed to live for their daughter, though. What’s the deal with her not bringing that up in that scene? That’s my only beef, and really, I think it would have been more dramatic had Jin left to be with their kid. Just my opinion, though.

  25. Powder Lips Says:

yeah the Sideways reality, still at large. They keep alluding to mirrors in it, is it just a reflection of reality. And what about Jack’s dad? Interesting that Sun freaked out in sideways world at the hospital when she saw Locke as she thought it was MIB. Haven’t read it in a while but this guys blog is really good, he’s like the Mr. Minor of LOST:
