Weekend Nuggets: New Haven ’92

DOWNLOADS OF THE WEEKEND:

The first two nights of New Year’s Run ’92 took place in The Palace Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut – home of the best pizza in the nation. Before moving north to Springfield and Boston, Massachusetts, Phish blew up The Nutmeg State on their way to 1993. Enjoy the old school shows, and most importantly enjoy the weekend. Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers that make the world go ’round!

Gotta Love A good southern Accent

when i tell people im from Puerto Rico
the first reaction is: You dont look puertorrican and you dont have an accent…
pretending not knowing spanish has its advantages sometimes 😉

one time I asked this old geezer, so whats a puertorrican supposed to look like?

    and he actually replied: …Darker

to which I replied: Well, my grandmother is blonde with blue eyes
    and pale skin?

I think I blew his Motherfucking mind. He must be thinking its a miracle

    Had a great time, Chef.

I lived for 10 weeks in an extended stay hotel in Newnan GA.

It was a great experience. Hard work. But, I felt proud. We laid something like 5 miles of steel rebar while I was down there. Just 12 of us, some water bottles, a ton of humidity, a j or two, and the steel.

I own a piece of I-75. There’s my blood and sweat…and bane ashes in that highway.

  6. ChefBradford Says:

That’s hardcore, bud. A friend of mine who owns a bar here helped lay down I-49. Interstate 49 is a bit of a misnomer; it currently runs from Shreveport, LA, to Lafayette, LA

  7. SillyWilly Says:

I can only imagine what those guys who laid the railroads or built the dams felt like.

I mean aside from the environmental issues those were the products of pure hard work.

    @voidboy

I imagine I probably smirk whenever I say “Dope”, as I smirk when I do lots of things, but I find the best way to say it is to draw it out, as in:

    “Dooooooooopppppppeeeeeee!”
