Vegas, baby! Nothing like PH in the city of sin

(btw, ACL line up is announced May 18th)

Grrr…digital music habit is time consuming…ordered a 2TB HD tonight, plus I spent time sorting through files poorly organized. Only want to save FLACs nowadays

  5. SillyWilly Says:

    That’s what I figured…maybe I can do both….

and yeah, sumodie. haven’t started to convert my Fall ’97 stuff. probably wait til the weekend.

hey, will my flac decoder work for .shn files? is there a difference?

i guess there’s only one way to find out

    hey BB,

just wanted to check in to send some good vibes sneven’s way, and to say what a cool place this is. really gain some perspective from the outpouring of love and knowledge around here. several excellent posts in response to sneven… can’t tonight, but tomorrow i’ll get mighty rashed…

    other random notes:

-like the vegas rumor, need to wash out the lingering negative energy from the last stop there

-fuck the ticket scammer, props to voopa for bringing that out in the open here on the board

-commodore perry (great lakes) is a big ass IPA. damn.

  8. SillyWilly Says:

Nice, KWL, Commodore Perry is one of my favorites. Almost every Great Lakes is money.

  9. SillyWilly Says:

    whoa

I took two benadryl 15 minutes ago. allegies are acting up.

    whoa again.

these things lay the wood. i can barely keep my eyes open.

I think Im gonna go to bed.

    Night, kids.

  10. KWL Says:

    @miner,

someday I would like to see you write a piece about the management side of phish. I don’t know a whole lot about red light, music today, or the current state of the phish org.

know you don’t like to be too critical, and such a post might be critical by necessity (in the contract-out 3.0 era), so no worries if that topic isn’t on the table–just feel like i should know more about it than i do.

  11. gavinsdad Says:

    miner and palmer onto something.

damn don’t even want to think of that now.

  12. VoidBoy Says:

    @KWL,

The “Biography of Phish” (Parke Puterbaugh) does a decent job of providing the details. The book letf me wanting more but this topic is discussed at some length

vegas instead of indio…im in either way. second half of the year is gonna be thick.

miner-tasty nigs last few days, wofmans from houston and 11-30-96 w apfelbaum is good shit. im thinkin he will poke in at the greek, being a berkeley resident and all….

  14. (looks too much like)Dave Says:

@SillyWilly, Austin is beautiful in October and is always a good time, but Vegas is Vegas.
Just saw Iron Man 2, not bad, kinda dragged at parts, Robert was great, War Machine and Iron Man fucking up a bunch of robots=awesome, and I liked the post-credit surprise.

  15. (looks too much like)Dave Says:

@lot rat, “miner-tasty nigs last few days”
not to be racist (I know that always means I’m gonna be), but lol

  16. jmo Says:

Joy (the song) is awful, as weak/poorly lyric’d as Waste. BDTNL and KDF are marginal, but not great Phish songs, while good jams have come out of both. STFTFP has potential, is stronger than Character0 as a launchpad. Sugar Shack hasn’t gotten a fair shake yet. And I don’t get all the hate for TTE…if the haters had been around to hear YEM or Fluff in their inceptions, they’d all be Widespread fans today. Good riddance.
