I love this song a lot, Trey. You might love it more. Who’s to say?
G’night, all. I’m gonna go read the book.
Since I’m here…
Thanks to whoever pimped the Fall 97 etree (silly?) and to kayatosh for talking about some 11/21/97 the other day.
The Gordeaux Faux Falsetto> 10 min disco stones… How do you top that as an opener??

@Chef
Saw your article request on the end of yesterday’s thread, sounds like a marvelous idea! I could really use more bliss in my life these days…
@AJ
Saw your post on the thread from two days ago, about the list! Glad you tried and enjoyed! I didn’t think anybody would see it, having been posted so late… Maybe I should repost it here, cause people should definitely try it!
Alright, here’s a repost from real late a couple nights ago, so I assume most o’ you fellas and ladies prolaby missed it:
I figure most of you Mac owners out there probably know about this already, but for those of you who don’t:
Step 1: Puff the kind stuff
Step 2: Listen to some good music
Step 3: Press the following buttons all at the same time: “control” “option” “command” “8″
Step 4: Enjoy!
I promise it isn’t anything bad!
thanks Garret. Feel free to drop some of your own recommendations
off to the works
so much “regular life stuff” to do and deal with before the shows. i want to deal with all that and take it a day at a time and not rush these shows here but GODDAMN now that we’re under 30 days i’ve got the itch big time!!
if i get to into anticipation mode i start to fade out on reality. must remember i have a family, must remember i have a job, must remember to fill the fruit salad jar.
@ BBer’s
Morning,
Another hot steamy day already here in Carolina! Busy morning fpr me already. 3 e-mails from BBer’s and Mr. Miner. Wow the Dude is popular today.
@ gdad
You seem like you got things pretty well put together. It’s OK to dream!
I’m sure I’ve said this one before, but the jam of the day show was the only tape I had for a few years and I played the absolute shit out of it. Went to the show and had someone record it off the radio for me. Listening to the jam of the day just brought back a ton of memories. I probably “know” this version more than any other.
got some strange looks cranking it at a traffic lights, after the 8 minute mark especially.
it replaced my other tape that was an unlabled mismash of tracks from the studio albums up till 93 and some live versions that I still don’t know what shows they were from that I got off of my sister. I have no idea where she got it cuz she wasn’t into it at all. From one of her old roomates I’m guessing.
@ joe
Have you downloaded the whole show in lossless format from bt.etree yet?
You seem pretty hyped about this GW show. You headed to GW this year?
Dude- blank dvd’s are in the mail along w/ return postage. keep an eye out for the package.
Beautiful day in the NE today. Outside w/ kids and coffe. Have a good one my friends.
just reliving some old memories that got sparked from the download (more so from the constant listening to the tape than going to the show. My show memories are always hazy and disjointed). Haven’t downloaded it but I just started streaming it off of phishows. I’m at work right now so no downloading till I get home. Smoking Ya Mar to start the night there too!
Garretc- how do i reverse this nonsense that i have on my computer screen now. Help! I thought you said it wasn’t bad?
@ Palmer
Great. I bet it’ll be here by Tuesday
should say memories sparked from the jam of the day – still on first sips of coffee here.
ok, figured it out. Thats was ugly
I’m downloading the first ever solar powered Phish show from Jones Beach ’94 ” Letter To Jimmy Page “
Half way through my first cup too
and yes. el dude. I’m hitting GW this summer in all likelyhood. I actually don’t have tickets in hand but am planning on hitting it (and hopefully meeting up with some of the fine folks from here). Doing the shows before with my girlfriend and some other friends, but probably will be flying solo for GW.
@ joe
Sounds like a good time!
Is that all your hitting this summer?
Very little summer ’10 for this kid.
2 shows only 🙁
I may try to squeeze one Hartford in too- that’s another down and back in a day thing for me so it’s doable. “real life” responsibilities and fincances are going to make it hard to do any traveling besides SPAC but I figure I can’t complain about what could turn into a 4 show stretch. Plus with Mr. Miner, et. all I feel like I’m out there everynight!
was lurking over the no Phish before tour or before and after shows the other day. I tend to go on a complete hippy music cleansing before tour starts. No Phish or jerry. anyone want a great non-Phish spin for this beautiful Saturday morning I’ve been going on a strict diet of early 70’s soul jazz and African music.
here is a wonderful afrobeat comp on Soundway featuring an unreleased track from my man fela and 15 other Nigerian tracks heavily influenced by the afrobeat master.
Nigeria Afrobeat Special – The New Explosive Sound in 1970’s Nigeria
