Yea. Sick delay loop jam > Drifting. Have always liked this song.

Thinking we’ll see a First Tube pretty soon.

  2. Wharblgarbl Says:

  3. Wharblgarbl Says:

  9. [Not Tom] Marshall Says:

Just jumpin on and just checked the net feed. Sounds like he played the same set basically from winter tour, when he closed out a whole bunch of shows with first tube.

I have to say that First Tube as a TAB tune is starting to get a little weary.

[sensing the phish jealousy inside me at this point]

  10. garretc Says:

    So you did Jtran!

    Diggin the horn arrangements!

  11. [Not Tom] Marshall Says:

but dAMN! playing in sync to fireworks … gotta love that shit!

  12. [Not Tom] Marshall Says:

return of the jedi move to close it out

  13. Jtran Says:

That last chord they hit after all the ruckus was awesome.

  14. BTB Says:

    Missed all of this…

How was the playing (minus F-tube)

  15. SillyWilly Says:

i helped my girl clean so she let me put TAB on while we cleaned.

maybe try that with your partner next time!

I thought the show was hot.

Just checkin’ in quick. girl’s in the shower.

im with marshall. same setlist as all winter, but the playing was great!

trey is loving life. can only mean good things for this summer.

  16. Jtran Says:

Decided to listen to 8/17/97 (Went) set 2…Read it’s up there with some of the best sets ever, so I decided to see for myself.

  17. [Not Tom] Marshall Says:

I guess they sort have to, and can sort of get away with, playing the same set, essentially, since it’s not really the same audience night after night, as it is with Phish.

  18. Stupendous a.k.a The Beasel Says:

did i miss a simulcast or stream of sorts?

  19. sumodie Says:

@silly: good call -will try next time

    zzz time beckons

  20. Stupendous a.k.a The Beasel Says:

    Is there anybody out there?!

::with your best pink floyd voice::

  21. Jtran Says:

I’m here. TAB just played in AL, streamed online. Finished about an hour ago. Setlist is on YEMblog

  22. [Not Tom] Marshall Says:

@ Stup – it was an official multi-camera stream – not the typical hoodstream stuff.

  23. Stupendous a.k.a The Beasel Says:

AWWW man where the hel was zI for that one

  24. Stupendous a.k.a The Beasel Says:

the more i think of it might be my destiny to go on tour this summer…

  25. [Not Tom] Marshall Says:

to quote a line from an old Blues Traveler song, “if it’s your destiny don’t fight it.”
