Thanks for all of the well wishes for graduating! Super sweet!

Aqua, It’s your birthday too? That sounds like a lot of Bull, if you ask me.

I’m kidding. Just a little Taurus humor.
    Get it? Taurus…Bull….nevermind

Really, Happy Birthday! I hope you had a marvelous day!

If thats the case, I’d think Longmont sounds pretty good. You’ll have easy access to check out a lot of nearby areas from there; the public transportation exists. In general, the music scene in Boulder is ripe, lots of musicians in the area. Graphic design is very doable in Boulder/longmont, but there is a lot of competition because of the university.

itunes visualizer on the 55″ is a force to be reckoned with

I’m glad I made you smile chef! Thanks for the congratulations too. It’s nice to have some free time again.

About 11/22/97…SBD of Halley’s available on phishows.com archives section.

Remaster available on the spreadsheet, pretty good sound I’d say.

I really don’t mind the 12/6 sound much, but a SBD would always be nice.

I started a new job tonight at 8, worked until 12, and hated it so much that I’m going to call the boss tomorrow and tell him it’s not for me. I feel sort of bad, but oh well.

Pounding some beers and set II 12/12/95 to get back in the groove after that.

  8. Jtran Says:

^^^just opened vlc player to skip Sparkle (song 2, set 2)…wish I didn’t. I now know I’m in for a 31 minute DWD. Holy Moses.

    Phish confirmed for ACL?

Officially announcing it tomorrow at 10AM(CST)!!!

Everyone go buy their passes at http://www.aclfestival.com at 10AM!!! They’re probably gonna sell out pretty quickly.

See y’all there. If anyone’s looking for a party let me know. I got a buddy with a big house and yard just up the hill from Zilker.

  10. sumodie Says:

Jambands also has PH @ ACL:

  11. carleethian Says:

    Alright, it’s official!

  12. sumodie Says:

    And here:

  13. sumodie Says:

Good luck to those trying to score single day passes for Phish Friday (since 3-day passes are long gone).

So what comes after ACL? Vegas? A run up to the Gorge and then down to Indio…….?

  14. carleethian Says:

Who knows, I’m hoping an side show during ACL. If they’re really starting a show at 8pm on Friday in Zilker it’ll be curfewed at 10. And I don’t really see them coming all the way down to Texas for one set.

I’m praying for a show at the new backyard. If not, maybe I’ll follow them to Vegas.

Alright, the girlfriend’s starting to get pissed at me for my phrantic phondling of my computer. G’night.

  15. purplehumpbackwhale Says:

so now i can officially say that the eagles, strokes, muse, and flaming lips are OPENING for phish. win

  16. sumodie Says:

My guess is ACL kicks off Fall Tour. As a first stop, ACL is a great way to get warmed up. Plus it’s great marketing -spread word of mouth to the non-initiated. Very smart, IMO (as long as they still hit Indio 8)

  17. stitchstash Says:

@ Phamily Berzerker, I’m so glad I read through all of the posts today. Your pinata idea is great! I’m in charge of the pinata for a bachelorette party this weekend. I had never thought to put lottery tickets, papers, and lighters in it.

  18. purplehumpbackwhale Says:

maybe i’m wrong. phish says theyre “headlining” but acl lists phish 3rd. poop. i though phish was ending the festival , like they did at bonnaroo

  19. purplehumpbackwhale Says:

ok lets get the rumors started – guest appearance? who’s it gonna be?

  20. Jtran Says:

On a totally unrelated note…how hard do you guys think tickets to Canandaigua will be on lot this June? I wanna go if the opportunity arises, but am not planning on buying a ticket early or taking off work for it.

  21. carleethian Says:

Yeah, I don’t know what night they’re gonna be playing… They might have it listed that way under their tour dates just because the festival starts on Friday… It doesn’t start at 8pm though.

The Eagles will definitely close out the festival on Sunday. I’m just really hoping that Phish gets 2 sets on Saturday or plays an additional show near Austin.

  22. purplehumpbackwhale Says:

JTran – canadaigua is gonna be a sleeper – wayy out of the way up north and out of the way of the rest of tour. i dont think it should be a hard ticket but it might be quite a hike to get all the way out there and not get a ticket.

phish.com and phish tourdates is behind on the times right… they havet even posted ACL

  23. sumodie Says:

Phish plays ACL on Friday October 8

  24. Jtran Says:

Good point. Sixish hours from Burlington..I’m pretty confident I could score something though. Maybe I should just plan on doing that show as a one-off ordeal

  25. stitchstash Says:

It’s nice to see Phish branching out a little more across the states.
