I just mean the street, El Dude.

a couple of the places are on CLark.

  2. El Duderino Says:

    @ Palmer

OK. Well hopefully it will be delivered locally today then. If not it’ll be here by tomorrow. Either way they should be back in the mail to you by Friday.

  3. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    @el dude

    here you go

  4. El Duderino Says:

  6. llamalee Says:

i hate to be a negative nancy but watching that TAB show last night was painful. trey better get his shit together before tour and quit playing the same damn riffs over and over.

  7. KWL Says:

keep getting ‘database errors’ that are preventing me from getting my phish thought on.

congrats stitch and silly, happy birthday reid & page!

  8. lastwaltzer Says:

Clark street is indeed the way to go. THere are tons of places to eat.

I was gonna mention as well silly, I don’t know what time your girl works till today but my girlfriend is working till late, so if you feel like baning for a bit when I get out of work shoot me an email.

Morning BB! I missed the stream last night, looking forward to seeing it pop up somewhere for viewing later. I did catch the stream from the TAB tour show earlier this year and it was great. I’d gladly pay to participate in couch tour if it’s the same high quality.

Re: DotD Ghost…this was my first show. First set was marred by terrible company, so I darted down the lawn and away from the distractions when the lights dropped for the second set. Nice PYITE, then this new song which I’d never heard before…it blew me away…wasn’t sure what the hell was going on. I DAMN sure didn’t sound ANYTHING like all those tapes from 88-94 that I’d been spinning for the previous year or so.

For another good Lakewood Ghost, check out the ’99 version…it’s nothing too crazy, but very solid with a perfectly sublime > into Slave.

@WT…good to see you back on page 1. You coming up for the NC shows?

  10. El Duderino Says:

    Thanks T3PO

I was a Rainbow fan back in my adolescent Metal days Mob Rules was a good Sabbath album too.

Stomach Cancer…Ouch I bet that was a rough ride

  11. SillyWilly Says:

    Oh, nice, halcy!

and yeah El Dude, I don’t mean to exhibit too much of my Chicago newbiness. guess I better spend more time here.

    thanks a lot!

  12. Jtran Says:

Also love that 99 Ghost > Slave.

Was beginning to spin 11/23/97 but will stop after the first two songs to listen to this Ghost which I’ve never heard.

  13. llamalee Says:

everyone’s putting so much emphasis on trey being happy just playing music, and i was at first but we still have to hold him accountable for what he plays. if you think last night was a good show then you probly would think trey’s shit tastes good too. i’m actually in a good mood today but trey needs to get his shit together, except for the sailor boat man. that song is a classic. pfft

  14. Leo Weaver Says:

@Jtran…go ahead and plow through the first set of 11.23.97 IMO. It’s got a great flow…

  15. kayatosh Says:

mornin. opted for dec. 95 and phils; flaked on the tab stream.

    dec. 95 update: 12-4 YEM a keeper
12-11 curtain >Bowie a gem. That bowie is unique and compelling.
12-12 DWD>lizards>simple high qual. I had already noted this one’s greatness a day or two ago
    12-16 Mike’s>simple>week — a keeper. really cool week.
12-17 — tweezer (also already mentioned, but so good worth repeating myself. thanks KWL and phish companion).
12-29: HH –triumphant extendo and meaty.

7-15-94 update: I think the quality of the recording drops off after first set. lots of yelling during bowie. sounds like security? yelling at tapers to lower rigs. still like the it’s ice from that show.

by my crude assessment dec. 95 eclipse summer94

  16. GOOCHY Says:

Hmmmmm, pretty sure I wouldn’t say that Trey’s shit tastes good, but TAB sounded good and tight last night for the most part. Sorry you don’t agree! 🙂

  17. Leo Weaver Says:

@llamalee…so did it just not stack up to the February shows? Seems like you’re about the only one with complaints other than those for First Tube.

  18. Robear Says:

the date up there say 5/17/10

did Trey play over breakfast somewhere?

  19. Frankie Says:

Morning BB! 7.23.97 Ghost, perfect! Can’t believe that was only the second one on american soil (not counting Bradstock)… what a monster!

  20. El Duderino Says:

    gotta love Leo W.

3 weeks later and he’s still pimpin’ the Winston-Salem ’97 show hard

  21. El Duderino Says:

    @ robear

    Over at Karissa’s house!

  22. Aquaman Says:

    Happy Birthday to Page!

    Happy Birthday to ReidIcculus!

    and then…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! The Aquaman.

‘Bane and Golf in my afternoon. I gotta meeting at 10:30 AM and then I am Audi 5000.

    Have a great one guys!

P.S. Just to stir controversy before leaving…..I am loving this Ghost, but I can’t stand those early Ghost opening sections. This song matured in a great way and the opening is where that fact shows the most.

  23. Leo Weaver Says:

I just can’t help myself @dude…pretty soon you’ll have me pimping classic GD shows 😉

  24. Phamily Berzerker Says:

    Breakfast with Big Red

    Nice Huggiebear!

    Feliz Cumpleaños MC Neon Gellcap!

  25. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

every time I listen to the Lakewood Ghost I think they are going to drop into On Your Way Down towards the end there. One of these days I’ll accept the fact that they do not.
