A Blank Space…

I’ve pondered what to write for a while now, and I’ve officially got a blank space where my mind should be. All I can think about is LOST. I’d write a piece on the show, but others do that quite well, and in appropriate places. For today, we’ll have to settle for a jam and a download. Dig into the archives and read a piece you never read before. Thanks for your understanding! To the Light…

me too, KWL. I’m not going to be able to move on with my day until I hear it. commencing DL now.

  2. Jtran Says:

I think my move with this show will be the DL > CD > delete off PC route. I’m running out of room.

    @ Stupendous

Close To The Edge is a Stupendous idea!

    On both levels!

    Multiple iTUNES libraries

I’ve already got two libraries now, the larger one, which is only phish, stored on a separate HD

Anyone have tips for handling multiple itunes libraries, as I’m now filling my libraries only with apple lossless (not mp3s) and fear I’ll be juggling 3 libraries by the time summer tour is over

For now I’ve opted to save the original unedited FLACs, plus the apple lossless version is saved within itunes. Luckily I haven’t had to fire up the 2TB HD just yet, but it is confusing keeping track of what goes where

  12. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

wait. isn’t that the date of halloween 1998?

  13. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

    *the same date as

I think so too, I would pee my pants…

I guess if they dont want to be obvious they could do “Gates of Delirium”

  15. Chuck D Says:

No, its the date “Thriller” was released. “Wolfman’s Brother” is Micheal Jackson; the Wolfman himself is a warewook.

  16. Jtran Says:

    And Bela is on

  17. Aquaman Says:

    @ Stupendous

I had the pleasure of seeing the Union Tour in the 90’s with both Trevor Rabon and Steve Howe together on Guitar.

    Truly awesome!

  18. Chuck D Says:

nah, man, he made Thriller…. Thriller.

  19. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

so you have to like michael jackson to like phish?

  20. SillyWilly Says:

    I dig.

I think I’d like to help because just like with everything else, more perspectives can only add to the vibrancy of the Phish community.

Sort of goes with out saying.

There’s something about young homosexual fans that I feel a deep kinship for. This may or may not make sense, but I feel like finding Phish opened me up to a world of intellectual/emotional freedom and a freedom of personality.

Because I’ve gained so much from this scene I feel like having a chance to enhance another element of the scene’s overall acceptance: freedom of sexuality would be a great way to give back to this amazing community we call “phanness.”

@sumodie re: tips on multiple itunes libraries

currently i have 3 ipods. when i fill up an ipod, i back it up on my external HD and then delete everything from itunes and start fresh. i don’t ever add music to 2 of the ipods because they are full and there’s nothing to take off. the third one is new and still has almost 20 gigs left (which im trying to save for new phish). so i currently have all the music from the new ipod on my itunes….

  24. Chuck D Says:

looks cool Haly. I’d be waaaaaay down with streaming my itunes. cheeper and easier than the airport extreme/external hd/mobileme work-around I found the other day.

only problem for me is that my phone wont upgrade past android 1.6, sigh.

  25. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

nice, halcy. I’m not an itunes fan (though I use it for my itouch) but I’d be down with a better music player on the droid. the stock one is pretty limited.

things move so fast with the apps and such for the android platform that I feel like I need to always be checking to make sure I know what is out there!
