bull definitely losing his mojo for now. the long trade was too easy for too long. little trickier now, even with the correction cushion.

Don’t underestimate 0% rates and the pros not having anywhere to put their dough

Look how hard they bought off the last bottom with no fundamental support

They don’t end up holding the bag. I just don’t see the $$ printing Obama administration letting this thing sink

1000 be the trend shift market likes visible numbers

  20. Gavinsdad Says:

We do cover alot of areas on this board but what we don’t necessarily do is interpret lyrics, however loosely. It’s taken me a certain amount of years to transistion into the more serious side of phish, even tho I was exposed to it early on…with, say, FEFY. So with that said, I was listening to NICU recently and wondered…what the heck is

“the gelatin lay on a truncated sleigh”

All about? The gelatin is himself? Truncated sleigh is a short bed? What the fuck Tom???

  21. Stupendous a.k.a The Beasel Says:

I 2 have been trying to get more meaning out of the lyrics or at least pay more attention to them, it was all about the music at first and boy man god shit

  22. kayatosh Says:

gdad: NICU just words that sound good together and wordplay. no left turned unstoned. in this category, i like tube and gumbo.

off the top of my head, for lyrics enjoyment i like billy breathes, lifeboy, anything but me, scents and subtle sounds, pebbles and marbles, army of one, beauty of broken heart, access me, and tela

  23. lastwaltzer Says:

I think there is more too it then just “words sounding good together”, each of those songs you mentioned have themes running through the song.

  24. lastwaltzer Says:

but i guess you did say “and word play”

    …………….damn internet…….

  25. kayatosh Says:

lw: don’t get me wrong, i do not discount the quirky lyrical tunes and do appreciate the themes and imagery these words conjure. i love this kind of song writing. very unique. leaves much to the listener’s imagination.
