  3. SillyWilly Says:

    but I planned it this way, because I knew id get these gift cards.

  4. Lycanthropist Says:

    @Silly

    no need to be bashful.. just wondering who was gonna get a cherry popped tonight

    this is truly some of the best 45 mins they have done

  5. Jtran Says:

    Yay Silly!

  6. William H. Bonney Says:

    that is usually how I listen to it, I have quite a few show that haven’t got to as well. I had not re-heard the Island run till recently, fun times

  7. SillyWilly Says:

    i believe it Lycan…this is awesome.

  8. Jtran Says:

    FYI guys, a girl is coming over in a couple minutes here but she’s just sayin hi, I’ll still be listening, just won’t be able to comment.

  9. William H. Bonney Says:

    CK5 sick as usual, show was at a small gym on the campus of UCF. Crazy nite.

  10. Jtran Says:

    @Will B

    First time for you too?

  11. Jtran Says:

    Oh, nevermind. DVD

  12. Lycanthropist Says:

    @Silly

    its just getting started!

  13. William H. Bonney Says:

    No, as a Florida boy have only missed one show in Florida since 93′. Toured alot from 94-00.

  14. Lycanthropist Says:

    nice we have an attendee!

    that must have been nuts Billy!

  15. SillyWilly Says:

    I want to see a famous Phish show.

  16. William H. Bonney Says:

    mid week show, monster BANE session, had friends on campus. One of best nights in my life.

  17. SillyWilly Says:

    I wonder what the turn around time is….For example, say this year I think Alpine Valley 2 just smokes…How long does it take to be widely recognized as a classic…Whats the time for a Phish “Instant Classic?”

    @Miner

    thats an idea for a post: The Anatomy of an Instant Classic.

    Or, How an Instant Classic is born.

  18. William H. Bonney Says:

    so far…………….:) it’s coming silly…

    Blackboard jumping off with Stashteca. Wish I was at my crib so I could join. I’ve been doing a grip of housesitting lately, which is okay. Nice to stay in someone’s phat house-like a mini vacation. Downside is that I don’t have my digital music collection at my fingertips. Usually the house I’m staying at winds up with shitloads of Phish on their computer. *****flarrdogg planting seed*****

    silly- Buckle yourself in for those Island Tour shows. Was listening to 4/4 this afternoon. In a word: Fierce. Impossible to NOT have your wig flipped.

    Rock On Gentlemen!

  20. Lycanthropist Says:

    any instant classics in 09?

    I know there are plenty of great shows, but can any stand up to any of the classic shows of August 93, December 95, November 97?

    FWIW – My personal view is that Cypress, Island Tour, and Japan ’00 stand out in a completely different catagory

  21. William H. Bonney Says:

    the Albany show could qualify from last tour, 12-30-09 could be, I dunno know… those were magic years as much as anything, peak type performances every night almost, everything had come together

  22. SillyWilly Says:

    @William H.

    I haven’t talked with you since fall tour.

    how do you think 2010 is looking?

  23. Lycanthropist Says:

    I love the jam that gets going at 8m mark of Manteca, working back into Stash

  24. Lycanthropist Says:

    and then into the dark depths

  25. William H. Bonney Says:

    @Silly They have had alot of time away from it. Should lead to fresh and rested summer tour. Based on the playing from TAB and Mike’s band, their chops are still tight. If they bulid off the new years run, sky is limit.
