Even lebron can’t make a winner out of Cleveland

So much more to winning a title than having king James

In the nhl there are teams like the sharks that win the conference every year but can
Never do shit when it matters

Get the Fuck out of Cleveland

He’s not tipping his hand anyway
    Just negotiating techniques

  2. SillyWilly Says:

I haven’t been following the Lebron thing the last few days…where are they saying he’s gonna go?

you think he’s gonna land with da bulls, bouncin’ aw?

  3. bouncin fan Says:

In an interview he’s saying he’s leaning towards Cleveland

  4. SillyWilly Says:

well, he is from Northern Ohio…cleveland isn’t exactly the most exciting town in the nation though.

  5. Mr. Completely Says:

“Actually Jordan, in all his greatness, got a coach fired as a young spoiled superstar and didn’t win jack until he was in his late 20s. ”

That’s definitely the Phil Jackson secret, much more so than his adoption of the triangle offense

he gets superstars to play team ball

    an incredible feat really

  6. William H. Bonney Says:

I think the real knock on Prince James he how he folded up like a cheap lawn chair when pushed by the Celts. He has been regressing in the playoffs. Jordan would still put up great numbers early and seem to progressing, same with Kobe. If he stays in Cleveland, he might not ever win one. Got to get out the home turf and deal with real pressure of a major media market ala NYC. The league has to get this kid to NYC, ratings galore. The NBA is losing money teams are in the red. Of course stern might want to look at the lamest idea since pet rocks the WNBA. Why in the world would the league cont. to pay the bill for a product that has never made a profit and most likely never will.

Pretty sure I caught a woody offa Aqua’s BBQ post, along with C’s authentico Mex post. Can’t say exactly the same for coco cream pie, my moms absolute fave. I was Choco cream and banana cream depending on mood and the diner I was in.

  8. Mitch Says:

    KP and el dude,
do you listen to umphreys? i’m picking sources for shows and a lot of them sound the same to me. looking for .02

  9. Mr. Completely Says:

yeah I think he’s trying to cushion the blow by talking nice some about Cleveland before bailing

Cleveland has no flexibility and the team as is can’t get it done. There’s no one on that team good enough to be the 2nd or even 3rd best guy on a champion. No one who can take the game winning shot when LBJ is tripled teamed.

Chicago if he wants to win right away. Knicks if he cares only about the brand and making dollars. Nets have a shot based on their crazy-rich new owner and his big plans.

To me if he makes any choice other than the Bulls he’s either a fool or isn’t really focused on championships.

Unless they can pull off some kind of scam to get him and a couple of his other free agent buddies to the Knicks all together…hard to make the numbers add up tho

^^^ that’s what I’ve been trying to get at.

More than any other team sport, basketball is largely psychological

Kobe has apparently gotten over his passive aggressive head case bullshit and is playing with ferocious determination

LeBron got hit in the mouth and basically ran like the red headed bully kid in Christmas Story when Ralphie let him have it

Jordan had to learn to take his licks from the Celtics and Pistons, it made him strong

  11. Mr.Palmer Says:

Knicks have the financial flexibility to sign 2 max free agents. Say Lebron and Bosh. They have a 20 year old stud in the making in Gallinari , who is a great outside shooter. That is a pretty good core. Let Donnie Walsh do his magic on some spare parts and you got yourself a 3 seed in a weak eastern conference. Celts are aging quickly, this could be their swan song.

Point being, with the right moves, the Knicks aren’t that far off, especially in the east.

  12. Mr. Completely Says:

yeah it’s possible if they can get Bosh too which I think they could

not really sure what I think about that guy though

he has never really proved it when the chips are down either

  13. Mr.Palmer Says:

Stoudamire is a free agent too. I think i’d rather have Bosh. But , your right Mr. C. Bosh hasn’t proved much either. then again, he’s been stuck on bad Toronto teams . It will be interesting, that much we know.

  14. El Duderino Says:

Is the NBA Finals game 1 on tonight?

  15. El Duderino Says:

    Nevermind…

    That would be a no.

  16. Mr.Palmer Says:

I think game 1 is Thursday. Game 2 is Labor Day. Game 3 Christmas Day.

Can they drag this shit out anymore?

  17. El Duderino Says:

    On the LeBron thing…

He’s not the best player in the league, that’s Kobe.

But LeBron has more potential to be the best than any other player in the foreseeable future

  18. El Duderino Says:

2 of those April ’86 GD shows I’ve been clamoring about are on page one of bt.etree.org if anyone’s interested… Yes they’re Miller’s

  19. Mr. Completely Says:

Here on the west coast we very rarely get to see Bosh so I have little to say about him either way.

Stoudamire finally played up to his potential in the second half of this year and as long as he is paired with a great PG he has a lot of upside left too. Not the #1 guy on a champion, but #2.

  20. Mr.Palmer Says:

Whats the story with the Brent meltdown on the 4/21/86 show?

  21. Mr. Completely Says:

start of the public phase of his woman troubles. not a good show IMO.

  22. Mr.Palmer Says:

Listening to the 4/22 Visions now.

  23. Looking For Owls? Says:

    http://apexnewsnetwork.com/22112/delonte-west-gloria-james-affair-rumor-may-force-lebron-james-to-move/

Why Lebron folded like a lawn chair against the Celtics. One thing is for sure Lebron OR Delonte West will NOT be a Cavalier next year.

    Bro’s don’t sleep with Bro’s Mom’s

As Chad OchoCinco would say: “Child Please”

  24. Looking For Owls? Says:

When Lebron asks his mom if she’s sleeping with his teammate, does she reply Child Please?

  25. Angryjoggerz Says:

Mitch, I would much rather hear about your pie munching than everyone’s chatter of balls and sticks.
