Halycon – I booked my flight for T-ride. Arrive in Denver at 8am on Saturday. What’s you’re deal for our there?
I’m talking a solo tent – Alta Lakes or just a sliver of earth is my plan. I’m winging it hardcore unless I can find a place to crash. Hoping I don’t have to rent a car, but probably will have too.
Cool Sumodie.
I’m heading to T-Ride just for the ambiance )and fine wine and cheese)… nothing like camping roadside… in hopes for a miracle.
Gavins, if you end up with those extra pavs, I’d be happy to take ’em off your hands, sir
Cool Chef. This place is working real nice from a ticket exchange perspective. Really good to see. Thinkin people should keep Voopa in mind on those Greeks 😉
I think T-ride will be the closest think you can get to a mini PH festival. I hope it plays out like that.
Agreed BTB. Woulda been cool to attend. That’s a real special place.
BTB…
A friend has a condo, and havent spoken to him in a couple of months, and do not know what is up. They were shut out. I work nights the week prior till Sunday night, and will be driving down early monday a.m.
I was so excited about Telluride, the BB, and everyone going that I offered the place for people to crash without even asking him and then they got shut out, and now I am figuring out what is going on. Lesson learned about offering places before conferring with those that reserved, and making sure everyone has tix.
Regardless, we will meet up and I will buy you a beer somewhere. Will have some blueberries to share 😉
RE Telluirde
Alta Lakes is a little closer but I haven’t been there.
I won’t be getting there until Sunday late or Monday predawn.
My brother and his wife are working angles through the Elks to get to serve wine and beer for a free show as we still do not hae tickets yet officially. Will be there regardless, but I am pretty secure in that I will get my ticket.
Once I get the details hammered out I will get to learning google spreedsheet for the details and such.
Cyonhal- Gotcha. Got a couple months to work everything out.
BTB Fest update – So check this, I bought a canopy/gazebo shelter thingy and I went out to the land and set it up and everything (did some other work out there).
Dumbass me…I left it outside, thinking ‘it’ll be fine, rain won’t hurt it’ – THAT NIGHT there was a devestating T-storm and Tornados throughout northeast OH…For all I know, my canopy/gazebo thing could have blow to the next county!! I guess I’ll find out wednesday.
wait. there actually is a device that can detect alcohol? can someone explain how this works? or the name so i can google it?
@mitch: you too can cross over to the dark side by purchasing a Alco-Sensor FST here:

I camped at Alta Lakes last year. It’s pristine. If you have a tent, you can throw it down. If you want to party with a bunch of people and chill by a fire pit, that might be hard to do. They also might shut it down bc it’s dangerous going up and down the mountainside there.
Beautiful though. Abandoned ghost town on top and see-through shallow lakes.
bigjig’s mom just made killer Indian food
Alta Lakes is beautiful as is Ophir. Scrapple was filmed in Ophir, Telluride, and Alta Lakes.

BTB….I am 2.5 hrs west of Denver in Eagle, just off of I70.
To get to where I may be alittel more clearance may be needed depending on road conditions.
I got a lot of legwork to figure the final 411
actually I won’t be going to T-Ride… but wish I was. Am looking forward to the “blow by blow” as things go down. Should be an interesting weekend. Looking forward to an exciting Fall tour(?)… you never know… hoping for more West Coast dates.
BTB
You could get a trucker to get you to Grand Junciton with a smile and the SPAC run from ’04.
Form GC just surrender to the flow.

If you get lost when driving up from Denver….and to keep in contact before the show.
I’m actually going straight to Grand Junction from Denvah to visit a good friend. From GJ going to T-ride.
Sweet BTB….
We will be seeing you there!

But flying out of Montrose on Thursday Aug 12
That game wasproof positive that the NBA is fixed. Third and fourth fouls on Kobe, which essentially took him out of the core of the game were nonexistent. And that replay off Garnett!? Please…see you in game 7 David Stern…pretty weak IMO
